How up to date is everything? For example, I believe the UNC LSAT median is 168 now, not 167. Is this just splitting hairs?
@l0bstah_roll207 I don't think it's too up to date. ASU is showing 155 but in reality, they are 165.
@AndreaRose I just looked for Arizona State University -- here's what I see:
@Kevin_Lin oh that's great! Yesterday it was different for me.
This may be the sort of thing where enough data doesn't exist to be able to predict, but would it be possible to put a non-traditional flag or 10+ years work experience or something similar on the predictor? I looked on lds and the data for non-traditional students there is very thin.
@MatthewSmith we don't have enough data on that yet. Sorry! For the time being, I think you should give yourself a boost if your career experience is truly off the beaten path for law school applicants—i.e., a blue-collar job, or an illustrious position (like a president's speechwriter). If you worked in, say, finance or sales, it's probably not as much of an advantage.
@David_Busis Makes sense, thanks! Wish I had spent more time writing presidential speeches and less time editing TV shows, although perhaps that's off the beaten path. I can't think of any other editors I know that have gone to law school, but as you said, not a lot of data.
is GPA undergrad GPA or CAS GPA?
@AbelTirado CAS GPA.
Please update the system so Canadian Schools can be evaluated.
@KevinChuang yes! I agree
@KevinChuang Sorry, we don't have enough data to make predictions for Canadian schools at this time.
Isn't this just the same thing but integrated into the website instead of through that third-party table provider?
@Metroidude Yes, mostly. But building these features natively will let us do many things we couldn't before. Stay tuned…
@David_Busis Oooh exciting. Can't wait!
