I take the LSAT in approximately three months (September). I am aiming for 170s (or closest I can get in however much time). I am currently scoring anywhere from 157-162 on PTs. At the moment, I am only doing practice, but feel like I might be better served changing up my study plan/schedule. I am wondering if starting fresh and doing the core curriculum might be a better option at this stage as opposed to just doing a practice plan. I actually have not watched any of the videos yet - I used LSAT Trainer before I got on 7sage. But recently, my PrepTests have not been going so well. I am wondering if just doing the core curriculum from scratch might serve me better. It seems like there might be a gap in some things I do not know, but also do not want to sacrifice reps gained through drilling/practice

Absolutely, I was stuck in the low 160s, completely stopped PTs and did core curriculum and drilling (they have since added more questions interspersed) and it pushed my score up and strengthened the foundations. Especially if you have already been studying you will be able to move through quickly. I wish I did the core curriculum sooner.

Maybe you can do a bit of both? I don’t see why doing the core curriculum would be a bad thing. Are there specific question types you are getting wrong frequently? If that’s the case, then go to the core curriculum lessons on those question types. It can feel a bit slow but it is definitely helpful to have those foundational concepts in your brain.

It is defintiely worth it. I spent 4 months studying with no direction at all and wasted a lot of time because I didn't truly grasp the concepts. Once I started using the study plan, my score shot up 9 points. I am not where I want to be yet, but it definitely helped changed the game for me!

@snorthg12 hello what study plans did you previously use? I read one last book , the loophole and right now I'm ready lsat demon. I want to make sure it's worth it I don't want to waste months of studying because October that's when I take the lsat. Did you struggle with logical reasoning or reading comp more?

@KiyahB I actually wasn't using anything besides drilling questions and reviewing (I clearly had no idea what I was doing). I had bought the LSAT Trainer book, but sometimes it confused me more than it helped me. I hear people reccomend The Loophole a lot more.

I'd say I struggle with RC and LR about the same amount. The study plan definitely helped with my LR understanding more, though.
