I did the loophole book 1st and probably would have started with 7 sage first. I feel like it gave me a lot more practical understanding and more drilling that loophole. With that said i felt very focused doing loophole and definitely built a foundation there that later helped me as I did 7 sage curriculum. I have felt like i moved faster with 7 sage than loophole. I enjoyed reading loophole explanations wayyy more than 7 sage tho. I am thinking of re-reading it again.
Hi there! I'm a little biased, because I studied with 7Sage when I was preparing for the LSAT, and now I'm a 7Sage tutor, but to me, 7Sage offers a really good foundation that'll take you far in your LSAT journey. I've seen some students improve a lot just by going through arguments, conditional reasoning, and the other foundations modules, because they create a really strong base to learn the question types/tips and tricks from.
If you're unsure about which to start with, I highly recommend checking out the foundations piece of the core curriculum and see how you like it! When I was studying, it helped me switch my brain in to LSAT thinking mode, and that prepared me really well for the rest of my studying with 7Sage. Hopefully that helps!
Wish I skipped other stuff and just started w 7sage, can’t compare to loophole but can confirm the analytics and live classes work. Especially if you get into a higher score band, Kevin’s 180 class is more advanced than most of what I have seen online.
You're already subscribed at the live tier and have the loophole so why not try both and see which connects with you better?
I really connected with the loophole as my foundation but I also didn't even try out 7sage until later when I didn't need the core curriculum (although, I'm sure there's parts I would have benefitted from back then).
Regardless of what you use, I'd encourage you to not try to rush things and, as you really get into it, make sure you're honest with yourself with what you know and don't fully know yet. That doesn't mean being hard on yourself but also don't sugarcoat things either.
And, also try to have some fun with it if you can. You got this.
i'll be a counterpoint; i started with a totally different test prep company that led to me stagnating around my diagnostic for around four months. did NOT have a good time with them. i then transitioned to 7sage and the loophole at around the same time in spring this year.
the core curriculum on 7sage never actually clicked w/ my brain, although i did really try to force it, and the loophole just intuitively "made more sense" to me, lol. working through the loophole book took me a while, but it rlly yielded dividends and helped me as someone who was especially prone to misreading stimuli + having time management issues. i used to always YOLO my way through the last 4/5 questions of an LR section and now i actually have a minute or two to review @ the end haha.
i do think some ppl bag on the loophole for being quirky, but its tone resonated with me!
i think i would try both out and see what works best/is most intuitive for you! you really can't go wrong either way ^^
Hi, I started with 7 Sage and then the Loophole book. I'd suggest starting with the book, or reading it concurrently with the 7 Sage drills and exercises. Personally, I've found more use in 7Sage's drills, stats, and AI chats than the curriculum.

use 7sage and then go to loophole. Ive found 7sage to explain things much clearer but the loophole does give very interesting insights
