All of the ones I've heard are narrative and have a hook. Check out the 7Sage podcast and A to Z (University of Michigan). They read through essays and applications.
@Esalas_me yes! It looks almost fuzzy! Making the font bigger didn’t help either.
This new font is so hard to read. Just did a practice RC section and missed twice as many as usual. It was really disorienting. They should offer several font options for accessibility.
Any screenshots of what the font looks like with the accessibility colors? I use the dark mode. Thanks for keeping things as current as possible!
My motivation is money. The better my score, the better my scholarship offers may be. I also found it hard to sit down and study at first. I think I was scared of failure. I wanted to be a perfect scorer right off the bat. When I gave myself room to get things wrong (realizing I was the only one caring about my scores), it was easier to do the drills and I started making progress. As I go, I’m finding LR fun to figure out. Good luck with your studies!
The admissions and the beta scholarship predictor are fantastic features. The numbers align well to the research I was personally doing. Thank you!
@David_Busis It would be sweet to see accuracy by difficulty of question too. Sometimes your overall accuracy can go down when you're drilling level 5 questions etc, and it would be nice to have the context. Thanks!
I've been thinking of a 7Sage feature I'd love to see: A graph that charts your drilling accuracy by tag and across time. So, for example, you could click on Analytics > Priorities and then select Phenom-Hypotheses (and other tags) and see that in May you had 62% accuracy for that specific tag and then in July you had 70%, along with a line graph to visually chart them. It would be similar to how you can see the Score Progress graph for the PT equivalent score, but more drilled down. I just made some recent progress and I'd like to be able to see how long it took to move the needle on different question types. Thanks!
@Fizzypop agreed! And do you get a delay before the text changes colors? I do.
When I highlight now, there's a pretty significant delay before the text changes color. Are others experiencing this delay as well?
Geez. What interface designers / engineers would think this is an improvement? Thanks 7Sage though for matching the new “tools” so we can be prepared. Can/do you advocate to LSAC to improve the test taking experience? How can we?
I think you have to write LSAC and get approval to remote test at another address.
