I'm not super fond of the way that the video characterizes Chopin's goals in her work as "maybe a sort of perspective," while the text beneath the video just notes it as a perspective without the same warning. I think it leads to confusion for people who are reading the text.

I wanna read Kevin's novel. I need some drama in my life. Something besides the existential worry and panic that comes from studying for the LSAT and questioning your intelligence and life choices

I am having a hard time differentiating between 'perspectives' and 'narrator.' For example, in this paragraph I thought that this was still just the author giving their neutral perspective. However, it is Chapin's perspective. Any tips?

What we're reading is Chopin's perspective but the author is telling us what that perspective is. I normally try to look at the wording in the passage. I've seen some that say "My view is this" or "I believe this way because" or like this passage "Chopin feels this way" and so. When Kevin says we're getting Chopin's view from the author's perspective that's just basically saying "This is what the author is reporting to us and they're doing it in this way", here being a neutral way. If that makes sense.
