Why is the negation of B "Half or fewer charities have increased the amount of money..." instead of "most charities... have NOT done so by making potential donors..." ? Am I missing something with the negation test?

and D says: bad news > low econ confidence > low IES confidence > spend less, and it's correct because the OG argument ignores that one variable?

@miraculousladybug being a pet adoption centre is a prerequisite for being eligible for the grant, so it's kinda just extraneous information. Assume that all MFG applicants are adoption centres and move on to the conditions we care about, ie the website and a 501c3

@Mr.Coolguy No, the Kumar example was invalid because the necessary condition in the example (ie him arriving 17 minutes after the bell) functionally doesn't trigger the sufficient condition of being marked late.

Consider: maybe Kumar had a note from his mom, was in a meeting with the Principal or the teacher just forgot to mark him late. The act of "being late" doesn't guarantee being "marked late". I hope that helps!

@EllieErnst for the argument to be valid it would be rewritten either with a sufficient necessity indicator, like in the video, or something like this:

Students are cited as "late" only if they arrive more than five minutes past the last ring of the homeroom bell. Kumar was cited as late. Therefore, he arrived more than 5 minutes past the last bell

I Eliminated B because "The only" was way too strong to match the stimulus for me. The stim implies Stat. Analysis is a common tool to use, but not the only one, ergo the conclusion couldn't possibly fit

@JacksonCarroll Some 7Sage commenters believe that using 7Sage is the only way to do well on the LSAT. However, this thinking is erroneous. Many LSAT takers have scored well into the 170s using other study methods, such as LSAT Demon or The Loophole.
