Hey guys,
I'm writing to see if anyone else is having the same issue: when I go to drill, I noticed that I can't select a double-category question (e.g., doing 3-5 weaken/causal combo questions). I've tried it 2x now and I'll get causal questions, but then be given causal MSS, MC, and SA, not only causal weaken like I want.
If anyone encountered this issue, how did you resolve it?
This question reminded me of the LG Elle was doing in Legally Blonde that went, "A - neither type of opera or neither type of rap is on sale"
@jasminesade220 I was gonna say, D is relying on the "weaken by the passage by the most minimal amount possible," especially compared to the others. They're all terrible answers, but the other ACs are giving "go girl gives us nothing," making D look marginally better in comparison

To add on to what Jim Bob said, what helped me understand this problem was looking at it from the contra-positive perspective. Let's use his example:
Touchdown + PAT -> Win the game
In a contrapositive, that's: /win -> /touchdown OR /PAT
That's where his "The refs could still make the team do the PAT and add the extra point on, but it doesn't matter--what matters is the team won the game. In other words, the fact you added on the PAT doesn't matter to what you said because you included "touchdown" in your statement to the person next to you" statement comes from (Jim Bob, if I'm misinterpreting, LMK!).
In our case, we have: important AND well-written -> published
contrapositive: /published -> /important OR /well-written
For anyone who also chose D for question 15, I'm curious if you read the question similarly to me, because I'm still not sure why A is right:
As I understand the question, the wind project in India that worked and the failed Brazil solar project, while broadly under the same energetic "green energy" umbrella, seemed like 2 distinct projects to me (a wind energy one and a solar one). We were specifically asked about “solar electrical systems” in the question, so that's why I figured A was wrong (because why are we basing our conclusion that solar projects will work "in many countries" on 1 successful example of wind energy?), so D seemed like the more cautious choice.
I was gonna say, isn't it theoretically possible to do a comparative passage and get 100% of the questions correct only by reading the first passage? I'm glad to see that you made it happen!
In the "Let's Review" section, shouldn't it be "Captures the perspective advanced by the author (or the perspective the author focuses on, if she doesn’t make HER opinion known)," since "she" was used earlier?

You didn't fail if you got there in your own way; there are multiple ways to get to the same right answer!

That's what I thought, too, that the whole point was to strike at a TBD future date and NOT now (for financial reasons).
JY, can you do a video on the negation method? Sometimes, when we have complicated sentences, like answer choice D, it takes me a minute to translate everything into a negation that makes sense.
@shippiinguyen oh man I always get 1/2 of categories for sure, but never the other (so only causal, but no weaken, for example)
