😖 Frustrated

New Prep Test Format

So I like and dislike the new format. I like how it is a way of practicing like on test day but I don't like how when you cross out an answer it doesn't fade away like on LawHub or before the new update. Can this be brought back.

And can the old format still be used for reviewing. It offered more space to read and review.

Study Plan

Hello 7Sage,

I enjoy the beta version of the study plan tool. Is there a way to have the study plan captured in the navigation path where you can easily click back to the study plan module you are on?

Ex: When I am in foundations (not in the study plan), I will click on the task and complete it. I can drive my cursor to the path and click on it and it will pick right back up where I left off.

If I do this through the study plan, the path directs to the core lessons sub-page and I can easily lose my place in the study plan because of this.

I essentially have to click on study plan at the top navigation panel and scroll down to where I last was in my study plan.

I hope this was descript enough for the team to understand.

I would love the ability to change what is automatically generated in practice blocks. I like the general guidelines and structure it creates but I'd like the ability to move stuff around and be able to "complete" a practice block and have it shown as complete for a week without necessarily doing a PT every single week like it has been suggesting for me. I'm also trying to focus more on RC, so I'd like to be able to add more practices into my RC days and have it show up in my X min left section for the tracker.

Hi! I think it would be cool if the study plan was more modifiable while I was going. For example, if I wanted to PT on a day instead of doing the exercises that it has planned for me, I could more easily edit it to fit with what I'm doing. I really enjoy having the study plan, but I don't like that if I miss a day or if I am doing something other than the exact tasks it gives me then I'm suddenly behind on the plan and have to catch up.

Sometimes when I'm reviewing, I think it'd be cool to try a question with a very similar structure to the question I just reviewed (e.g. a Sufficient Assumption question that has a ValJudge and LinkAssumption component), but it seems the only way to do that is to manually search for one in the drill creator?

Hi, I am hoping to request a feature where I can easily export all the notes I have taken. I am a sentimental person and like to keep my notes on pretty much everything I've worked on. I love the notes feature on 7Sage and find it more efficient than making a separate doc, not being able to export them for archiving reasons is the only downside.

Would it be possible to add a bookmarking feature for drill history or section history? For example, in the live classes list, we can bookmark recorded classes to access them more easily. Similarly, it’s hard to find drills or section history that I want to revisit later, so a bookmark function would be really helpful.

I appreciate all you have done with the website. So every lesson or 'you try' has a discussion/ comments section. The comments are one long list of uncollapsed comments, sometimes 300 in a page.

Is it possible to have the comments be collapsed with only the subject line of each comment & author name showing (& maybe a sentence preview of the comment post)? this allows us to dig into each person's comment instead of wading through scrolling pages and pages of uncollapsed comments maybe? maybe its a matter of organization a little better. The comments or posts could be tagged as 'answered" or unanswered as well as "solved" and unresolved?

Hey y'all,

I'd like to request a feature. I recently got destroyed by a single passage in RC and wanted to ask "What if I got them all correct instead?"

LSAT Demon has a score calculator but 7Sage doesn't. I'd love some "What if" tools in analytics to explore implications and have it recalculate my score.

A small thing, but I came here from another program and had already taken some exams. In the study plan feature, it gives me a prep test that I already have taken, and i have to go through the whole thing submitting each section just so that I can get to another prep test. It would be a lot easier if, once I realize its an exam I have already taken, i could go to that exam and mark it as completed already, so that 7sage isn't trying to force me to take it again.

Hey, in the latest update to the UI the feature where you could see when you selected a certain AC during the time you were taking the question was removed. The time bars you see after you take a drill/section are all grey, instead of having green or red to mark when you selected a correct or incorrect AC.

Not having this feature makes me record my sessions so that I can manually collect this data myself -- Please please add it back to the UI ASAP please as I'm sure it was just a mistake.

Thanks

Do you know what I think would be a really helpful macro on this platform? To add a macro for question type be able to turn on and off what question type is being administered during the test.

The macro would start in the off position but would act much like turning off the timer counting down. This way...you can reinforce pattern recognition of question types and apply in real time. Push this to the top!

Hello! I've been thinking about this for a while, but it would be helpful to create a custom review set. For example, I'm trying to review all of the questions I got incorrect the first time and got correct in blind review to see my conceptual gaps. The only problem is to see my "actual take" and "blind review" answer choices, I have to go all the way to "review" for the Preptest the question came from. For single question from a drill set, that isn't really possible since I haven't done the whole exam or if I look for the drill set the question came from (hard when you've done so many questions). Otherwise, my only other option is to click on the magnifying glass or go to the explanations tab to review the question (which doesn't show my previous answer choices). Maybe there is a way to do this and I'm not aware - please let me know if that's the case! Thanks a bunch! :)

🙃 Confused

Missing Timing in Drills

In the Drills that can be launched from the Dashboard page, the timing always appears blank, even though it records when I select an answer. I like to compare my time to the recommended time, so I hope this can be fixed!

Can a feature be added where we can filter questions for our drill based on if they were done a while ago (i.e. over a month ago)? Like if I am running out of questions for a certain question type, it would be great for the drill to select any fresh questions i have and then pick any seen/answered questions that were not recent (so there's less of a chance of doing them recently and remembering the right answer). Thanks!
