Update: The new site is live and running on 7sage.com as of 1:30 a.m. ET. The classic site—this one—will stay on classic.7sage.com for the foreseeable future. Thank you for your patience!

Original announcement:

At 11:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, June 22, 7Sage will go down for maintenance until about 7:30 a.m. ET on Monday, June 23.

When it comes back:

  • The current site (what you see when you go to 7sage.com) will only be accessible at classic.7sage.com.
  • If you visit 7sage.com, you will end up on a brand new 7Sage. It will be a completely separate site, and you will need to create a new account to use it.
  • 👉 Don’t worry. You won’t lose access to anything! Just remember that, starting on the morning of Monday, June 23 ET, you’ll need to visit classic.7sage.com to keep using the 7Sage you use now.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Will the current site keep working after the transfer?

Yes, everything will keep working exactly as before. The only difference is that you will have to type classic.7sage.com into your browser instead of 7sage.com.

What’s the difference between the old site and the new site?

The new site has a cleaner look and feel, more explanations, better analytics, a ton of new features, and countless small improvements to help you reach your goal score faster. Take a look:

Can I try the new site before the Big Switch?

Yes! Just create an account at new.7sage.com. Use the same email address you used for the current site. Once you’re logged in, head on over to the billing page to see if you can transfer your subscriptions to the new site. (Some subscriptions are not eligible for automatic transfer.)

⚠️ Your analytics and data (PrepTests, questions taken, etc.) will NOT transfer to the new site.

Why can’t you transfer my data to the new site?

We rebuilt the new site from scratch, and it's incompatible with the old site.

If I transfer my subscription to the new site, will I still have access to the old site?

Yes! If you transfer your subscription from the old site to the new site on the billing page, you will still have access to the old site until you stop subscribing or until the end of 2025—whichever comes sooner.

Should I switch to the new site?

If you’re just starting out or if you don’t have a lot of analytics on the old site, yes, you should definitely switch to the new site.

If you have a ton of analytics on the old site—say, more than two PrepTests worth, or more than 40 drills—you might want to stick to the current site.

I was listening to a 7Sage podcast (I believe #44) and they spoke about using flashcards while studying the CC. I was wondering what I would use flashcards for and what I would put on them to help me with the LSAT. I'm going through the CC foundations right now and plan to take the LSAT in 2027, so I'm just at the start of my prep. Thanks so much :)

I have completed 3 practice tests scoring mid 150s on the latest 2 and all my BR scores have been consistently around 165. There were clearly question types I needed work on which I did but after my latest practice test no pattern among wrong answers emerged. Most of my wrong answers when I do an analysis come down to the fact that I did not understand what I read. How do I improve upon this? Furthermore I'm looking to get my BR score to mid 170s before focusing on the timing of the test any tips on how to do that?

    Dark mode for new 7Sage

Is there a dark mode setting for the new 7Sage website? I can't seem to find an option to set it to dark mode (or "Night mode with inverted colors" as it was called on classic 7Sage). If there is no setting for this, does 7Sage plan on implementing dark mode at a later date?

    LSAT Hack?

Is it true that every scored RC passage on LSATs now have a comparative passage? If so, can we quickly look at each passage to see if there is a comparative passage present, and if not we know that it is experimental? This could be a shortcut if true

I have been taking older PTs in order to preserve the newer ones for when I am closer to test date, but out of curiosity, I tried a a more recent test. Here's what happened:

    PT38, I scored a160 (171BR)

    ...5 days later...

    I took PT69 and scored a 166 (169 BR)

They were both timed. In fact, I took PT69 under the strictest conditions I've exercised yet.

Now, I know a 6 point jump after 6 days isn't due to some random leap of development. I am genuinely curious if there have been any known changes that might make the newer tests a little "easier"? I didn't get a sense for this while I was actually testing (other than maybe LG being a little more clear).

Perhaps does this mean I should focus more on recent PTs, or conversely, I should focus on the older ones in order to potentially make more gains by challenging myself harder?

Hey everyone — I’m not super active on 7Sage but I’m looking to build a large, focused group chat for August 2025 test-takers aiming for 170+. I’ve been studying pretty seriously and would love to connect with others who are deep in prep and pushing toward 172–175+.

We’d mostly do check-ins, drill accountability, and share tips/resources. Nothing formal, just consistent and focused. Open to Telegram or WhatsApp — whatever works best for the group.

If you’re interested, feel free to DM me your number or preferred way to connect! STUDY GROUP

I purchased LawHub Advantage AFTER I linked my 7sage account to my LSAC account. However, I still receive this message in 7sage, despite having purchased LHA:

"Your account must be linked to an active LSAC LSAT LawHub Advantage account to access licensed materials. Please link your account to avoid any interruption in service.

You successfully linked 7Sage to your LSAC account, however your LSAC account does not have an active LawHub Advantage subscription. Please purchase or renew LawHub Advantage on your LSAC account directly from LSAC by logging into lawhub.lsac.org, then tapping on your name in the top right corner, then “Upgrade to LawHub Advantage.”"

Anyone have the solution to this?

    Hello,

I’m wondering if there’s a way to view the total time spent on a drill after it has been completed. I’ve noticed that the time spent on each individual question is listed, and that any time limits set for the drill are visible. However, I haven’t been able to find a summary of the overall time taken to complete a drill.

Having that total displayed automatically would be extremely helpful, as it would make it easier to track my progress and improvements in speed over time without manually calculating the sum.

Thank you very much for your time and assistance.

    Best regards,

    😖 Frustrated

    Mobile App

I was curious if when the website actually launches it will include an update for the mobile app? I would consistently go back and forth and when I found downtime, I would study on the app. Since I switched to the new site, none of my progress has synced and I recognize that it matches more of the old layout. Even in one of the tabs it still has Logic Games! When can we expect to see this updated too?

    😖 Frustrated

Bad Differences in the New Website

I just switched over from the old website, and then main two aspects that aren't on the new website is the discussion at the bottom of lessons and having a study schedule that assesses my full time frame and where I should end at a certain week. I could be confused with the application, and don't know where to access it, but these were things I constantly checked. Please add these back if they aren't already included.

    Just took the June LSAT

Just took the June 2025 LSAT and generally think it went okay, but at the end of the day I'm not sure. For those of you with experience, does your 'vibe' or feeling about how you did usually line up with your actual score?

Does anyone else have this problem?

I take FOREVER on BR. It takes me like 3 days to BR everything on a PT and then like 2 days to review. I feel like I am wasting my time when I could be doing targeted drills. It also makes me really burnt out and bored.

Any tips on making BR a better process??

I have purchased 7sage, and purchased LawHub advantage directly on the site, but I keep getting this message:

"Sorry, your account must be linked to an active LSAC LSAT LawHub Advantage account to access licensed materials. Link your account to continue your access.

You successfully linked 7Sage to your LSAC account, however your LSAC account does not have an active LawHub Advantage subscription. Please purchase or renew LawHub Advantage on your LSAC account directly from LSAC by logging into lawhub.lsac.org, then tapping on your name in the top right corner, then “Upgrade to LawHub Advantage.”

I never received any link on my email receipts when I purchased LawHub advantage. I am extremely frustrated because these are not cheap!

I have personally tried so many different variations of wrong answer journal templates... I feel this is where I need to focus the most of my studying on.

I've noticed a lot of the shared templates on older posts are no longer useable -- the links are broken, or the files are just gone.

If you're a 165+ scorer, it would be highly appreciated if you could drop your template. I feel my methods of handling the journals in the past haven't been super helpful. I ultimately want something I can search on a computer instead of a handwritten notebook format I know I won't look back through as much as I should.

I have an official 158 on record, so I don't so much feel I need to go over fundamentals too much. I am still doing a reread of the 'LSAT Trainer,' though.

I just recently started study for the lsat and the two practice tests I took I received a 145. I noticed that every single low priority questions I got correct and every single high priority question I got wrong. I feel like this means I probably have a basic understanding of how to approach more simple questions and still have to learn how to solve the harder more complex questions. For anyone else who has also got all the low priority questions right and all the high priority questions wrong, what did you find helped you improve your understanding for these types of questions the most? I appreciate any advice!
