Hi- I'm new to 7sage so sorry if this question is obvious or already been answered. For about a month I have been working off of physical PTs and scoring them myself/ blind reviewing. Now that I have recently subscribed to 7sage I'm hoping to take advantage of the analytics by entering which questions I got right and wrong on these tests. Is there a way I can do this? Thanks.

How much does cancelling really hurt your application? I cancelled my first score and got a 171 on my second, but I am hoping to take it again to improve my chances at getting into a top tier school (Harvard, Columbia, UChicago). If I were to take it and cancel again, how much could that hurt my application? What about if I got a lower score on my third one?

Hi everyone. I just need to express this to people who might understand. I keep having minor but frequent freak outs about doing worse on this LSAT than in November. I also can't find much information on what happens if you get a lower score your second time except what I have already read on a previous post about schools just choosing the highest of the two scores to evaluate but it still gives me so much anxiety.

Did anyone else have a seriously deflating experience with PrepTest 81? I maintained the same overall score as usual, but I did MUCH worse on my LR and RC (typically my better sections) than normal and did better on LG than normal (where my score is usually bad). I take the real thing in 3 weeks and could really use some encouragement in the meantime

Could someone point me to a page listing how we can best simulate LSAT flex testing environment? (specifically -- breaks, what kind of scratch paper/whiteboards, etc.) I googled & found only proctoring software + sections changes, so anything a little more comprehensive would be super helpful. Thanks so much!

Hi guys,

I am in need of advice regarding what to do next? I have been studying for the LSAT since July 2020 and plan on taking the February LSAT Flex (potentially the one in April too). My past few LSAT scores have been in the low 160s while BR is above 170. I realize timing is my biggest issue and being a slow reader doesn't help. I think not being a native English speaker really hurts my RC reading speed. I usually run out of time before i can even get to the last passage. Has anyone been in the same position as me before? Any recommendations on what i should do next? What would benefit me the most to keep doing a PT every day or every other day or intense drilling on weak points? My target goal is 168+. Is it realistic to close the gap by February? I've been studying pretty much full time. Please and thank you!

Although my password is same, my IPad is not syncing with all the work completed on my MacBook. Even IPad’s avatar is a default while my MacBook avatar is my selected avatar. Even needed to redo all work so my IPad to match MacBook yet when I go back to MacBook, don’t wish to redo work from IPad. Is there a way to sync both devices?

not sure if this is a silly question and i know everyone is different but is it recommended to be doing the syllabus in order? or should be looking at different chapters at once

Hey everyone, this may be an odd post but I needed to get it out there since reading through different peoples goals/expectations can be taxing and pretty daunting. "If I don't apply at this time I have no shot, if I don't get this score with my GPA I have no shot" etc., you get the point. So I currently work at a law firm and pretty much have a solid job opportunity post Law School. So I don't need a 170 + to even have a chance and care to apply to schools, nor do I absolutely have to get a scholarship in any way. I'm actually aiming for the more realistic score of around 153-155 which would allow me to attend a school close to me, Philadelphia area and still work if I'm able. It's not a must. So I would appreciate any tips on what I should really go heavy on with drilling etc. to get in that score range. I'm currently scoring around 146 but just need that extra bump. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks everyone!

I am applying for accommodations, as I have had a recent bought with migraines. I wanted to know if anyone had similar reasons for applying for accommodations, and any tips about the process as well. Thanks so much

Looking for a little motivation. Idk why I’m having so much trouble getting back into studying. I’ve taken MONTHS off since bombing my November LSAT and am trying to get the discipline/motivation to get back on the horse. I think I’m discouraged with the time I previously feel like I “wasted” with Kaplan. I burned myself out only to get a crazy low score and now am having trouble getting myself to buckle down and study again. Has this happened to anyone else?

176/180BR on my last 4. 174 average across last 10.

Free now and tomorrow afternoon. We can go over anything, but I try to focus on overall attack and review strategies, diagnosing current issues, and test psychology. I find that the finer details typically work themselves out if you take the right approach.

Hi, I was wondering what everyone has been doing or has done in order to practice and prepare for the LSAT writing portion. Is there any practice materials you recommend?

Hi! I have been using my Mac to review 7Sage. I got a new MacBook Pro yesterday and now I can't see the entire video, nor will it allow me to scroll down to access the "next" button. I can scroll through the syllabus, but not the videos.

Help! lol

Can someone explain score cancellation? What is the purpose of it? Especially when we have not gotten our scores back? How would this effect the application process if we do cancel a score? Is there an overall advantage or disadvantage to to this process? What if I don't cancel but retake the LSAT in April and get a better score the second time around? Do I have to cancel in order to take another LSAT Flex? I took the Jan Flex and I feel like I didn't do as well as I wanted, but I still have some hope I did well. I'm spitballing the idea but I'm not sure what that means entirely.

Just looking for some clarification!

Thanks!

I know that I probably should just get my mind off it and relax but I Can't.

I'm literally going through every post about the test on reddit and on 7sage to, i don't even know, validate my own feelings? lol

My pt average for the past 7 tests have been around 170.5, worst PT being 168 and the best being 173.

On the real thing, the anxiety was insane i totally feel like i bombed the whole test except LG which I had 8 minutes left bc it was so damn easy. I wish I got a hard LG and easier RC because LG is my best section smh

Honestly I can't even remember what I read during the LR and RC sections.

I hope that my actual score is within my range. It would be so disheartening if I end up a full -10 below my average

Does anyone else think their intuitions after the test are the same as the real score? I honestly think it could go either way (good or bad) but the fact that I can't get a grasp is giving me really bad anxiety.

Decided to start PTing using tests from 2018 because of the short runway available to me -- absolutely bombed the LR section on the two I've attempted so far. LG is reasonable and RCs are occasionally tough but I'm stunned by how difficult LR questions are from Q15 onward. Has anyone else experienced this??
