A new version of the iOS app is out!

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/7sage-lsat-prep-exam-timer/id665684597?mt=8

If you're on Android, sorry - Android app is now lagging well behind the iOS one. We're planning on fixing that in the next few months.

What's new:

• New menu system - Swipe to the right to see the menu. Or you can tap the menu icon in the top left.

• New messaging system - You can send messages to us and see the replies much more easily

• Proctor settings - Background and distraction settings now go from 0-10, so you can easily regulate and change your test environment.

• Quick access to course reviews

• Quick access to LSAT discussion forum

If you like it, please rate the App! Each rating really boosts our visibility on the app store!

Is anyone in the area studying for the September test and looking for a study partner? I took the June test but I think I am going to retake it in September and I'd like somebody that I can take tests, study, and keep motivated with. :) I live nearish Tyson's Corner for reference.

Hey, if anybody in NY (Brooklyn) wants a free copy of Mike Kim's LSAT trainer, the Logic Games Bible from powerscore and (I don't know why you would but...) marked and scored books of PTs 52-61, 29-31 and 61-71 you're welcome to come any of it. Just come pick it up anytime before the 17th of this month. PM me and we can figure it out.

EDIT - ALL GONE.

Hi, I currently am prepping with fully 5-section timed in 161, and I am registering for the June LSAT in Asia. I am for a 167. In my timed section when I did them separately a in early May, I got high 160s low 170s consistently. I then stopped for 2 weeks for my finals and resumed again since late May after my exams. From then I started with full timed tests of late 50s-early 60s tests and got 161 in all those tests. I tried to drill into each sections but my scores do not seem to rise at all. LG used to be my best section where I got -0,-2 consistently in the 40s tests, but now I can't seem to get it off the -5,-4 level due to either I misread a rule or I make silly mistakes with inferences. RC is my worse section where I got -4 at my best if I do individual sections. LR is also erratic as I often got -2.-3 in May, and also in J07 test which I did as a full test rather than diagnosis, but now my best is usually -5. Do you have any suggestions on how to improve points in my case? Would it be wise for me to postpone the test till Sep if I don't see major improvement in the next week? (My test will be late June, ie 2 weeks from now)

Thank you in advance for your help. Hope you all did brilliantly for the June test!

I'm not sure if i'm just crazy and making stuff up in my head or not, but I swear I saw a link to a live video of JY (or maybe some other 7sage person) taking the LR part of the test. Am I just thinking about the live video of the LG? I know about that one, but I thought I saw a link to same thing for LR in the comments for one of the lessons... Any info, anyone?

What are y'all's strategies for attacking them? I finally got the basics down, and if I've seen an exact (or near exact version of the game) before, I can usually kill it with time to spare.

But it's those weird games. Those games which mix it up in a way that I've never seen before. You know what I'm talking about. I'm talking about games which match sequencing with an in and out game. I'm talking about games in which you have to draw a freakin' star to finally figure out how to do the freakin' puzzle (I'm lookin' at you, Preptest 38, Game 4!) I'm talking about unconventional charting games which don't look all that similar to any of the games I've done before (Preptest 39).

So what are you strategies? Appreciate any feedback.....

Hey J.Y.,

As I am going through the videos, I hit "next". Every time I have been clicking "next", the next page says something along the lines of "You do not have access to this content, please upgrade". I can only rectify the situation by clicking back to the previous page and then hitting next again. Any chance of solving this technical problem? It's not the biggest issue in America by any means, just a pain.

Thanks!

Hi,

I am looking for study partner who is committed to get through this tough LSAT journey together! I took a TestMasters prep course last October and been studying since then. I have studied several books including Trainer, Manhattan books, Bibles etc. I found studying partner system to be one of the most efficient and effective ways to push each other hard and share the strategies together.

I would like to meet up if you live around Los Angeles area. I would also like to get in touch through Skype or Phone. It be very good communication tool and convenient. I am down to talk any time. I would like to take a Mock PT together and review. Please contact me at 213.700.3059 or michellemoon0708@gmail.com. Looking forward to hearing from you!

I am looking to study with someone for the September LSAT. Getting help from each other, by giving tips, advice, and having someone to follow the same journey as me this summer! I am a 4.0 student but this LSAT is kicking my butt right now (been studying for only a week now). But I won't let it get to me!

If you are interested let me know.

I have a problem turning the necessary condition into words sometimes.

For example, the sufficient condition reads well:

Zombies attacking the city makes it sufficient for me to know the market will sink.

Z -> S

But for the necessary:

the market sinking is necessary for me to know that zombies attacked?

The market sinking is necessary for zombies to attack the city?

or maybe

It's necessary for the market to sink if zombies attack the city?

How do I make this into English correctly?

On the MC Score Sheets, at the top, it requests the LSAC Account Number, the Social Insurance Number, the Center Number, and the Test Form Code. Are we required to memorize all this information?

This question really bothers me. I do not understand it. PT 68-part 2, question 21. This is a disagree question about why law firm decided to settle a case instead of going to trial. Do we need to assume that jury/judge would not award more than the legal fees if the case went to trial? Why are they talking only about settlement and not judgement?

Can anyone give me a good example of "the only" as a sufficient conditional indicator? Possibly differentiating it from the 5 "only" (only, only if, only where, only when, only those).

Reference to these: http://classic.7sage.com/lesson/4-translation-groups-cheatsheet/

I know I can just plug in "the only" to "all" in the phrase "all horses are strong" but "the only horses are strong" doesn't make sense to me immediately. I would really appreciate a great example!

+ I would also appreciate a good example of "always" as a necessary conditional indicator :D
