The highest diagnostic score I've gotten so far is a 168 on Khan Academy, but that was more of a fluke where I did better than normal in LG. On LawHub, which is the only thing I use for timed PTs now, I typically get 163-165. I got a 161 on 79 which wasn't great for confidence, but apparently that's one of the harder ones.

Been able to get -0 on LR a couple of times with a typical range of -1 to -3. On RC I almost always get 24/27. LG is definitely what I need to improve most on, as I currently get 14-16 / 23.

Ideally I would love to hit 175 on the actual test in Feb. I'd really like to break 170 regardless. How realistic of a goal is that and what's the best course of action? For now I'm trying the foolproof method for LG sections I've done on previous practice tests. I've heard that it's the easiest section to master.

Planning on studying 4 days a week 3-6 hours a day until the first week of Feb.

Hey, y’all.

I’m currently registered to take the February LSAT. For my study schedule, I’m taking a pre-test every Tuesday and spending an hour every other day studying, mainly because that’s all my work schedule allows for. So far, I’ve done two pre-tests and I’ve gotten a 140 and a 139, respectively. Should I feel discouraged that I haven’t seen any improvement or encouraged in the fact that I have some sort of consistency? Should I take the pre-test, then spend the rest of the week focusing on the explanation videos to see if something clicks? I don’t really want to take a gap year between graduating in May and law school, I just want a few more points (I scored a 140 in August), because I think my resume and extra curriculars can help me. Any advice would be appreciated!

Hi folks, this may have been covered already but I am taking the January LSAT and am trying to take my last 10 PTs under as real testing conditions as possible, including doing them on Lawhub under timed conditions and then inputting my answers in 7sage to BR.

I took the test last January and recall that there was an optional 1 minute break between sections 1&2 as well as between 3&4.

I've heard mixed comments with some saying each 35 min section now starts immediately one after the other (outside of the 10 min break halfway through).

It definitely helps to be able to take a few deep breaths between sections before diving back in. Can anyone confirm whether or not there are 1 minute timers between each pair of sections?

I'm not focused on getting into a t30 school, I don't care all too much about where I go as long as its in the midwest. I have a 3.85 GPA. Everyone says that getting under 160 means I am missing fundamentals. what do I do to fix this? I have went over the fundamentals in 7sage already, did powerscore bibles. i've been studying while working and full time school for 2 months. diagnostic was a 142. pls someone get me to 160. and if anyone has taken later lsats and applied the same year cycle, i need some motivation. i know its not ideal, im doing it anyways.

I have gone through the V2 Curriculum and the core lessons and wanted to know which pts would be best to use for timed section practice. I am aware that pts 1-35 are for drilling but was wondering how others allocate their timed section practice on certain pts. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Live Class tutors: emails?

Hi I'm hoping to reach out to one of the tutors that teach the 7Sage live classes but I have none of their email addresses. To further clairfy, I am referring to Julia, ALex, Bailey, etc. I have failed to write down their emails when they have shared them in class; would someone please share this information with me please and thank you :).

I'm starting to study now for the LSAT and I'm trying to decide whether to wait until logic games are gone or if I should take it in July. I have consistently been getting about -12 on both the LR and RC, and I heard that logic games are perfectible with practice. I am a math teacher so I think I could be decent at them with time. Any ideas on what I should do?

Are you someone who wouldn't settle for anything less than 170? and have correctly your friends' questionable reasoning? Or while listening to NFL's play-off season stats and started to setup splits? Well, please join us in the next few days, we'll be doing live LSAT PT section on discord server, and subsequent reviews. Many of us are getting ready to take the Jan LSAT, (myself included). We are pretty serious people, and if you are not an unserious person with similar goals, come join us at the party: https://discord.gg/QrfxGD9eD8

Hey everyone !

I have spent about 5-6 weeks worth of studying on and off from October of 2023 to now (December 2023) and gone from a 142 diagnostic to today a 162, hoping to break into the high 160s to low 170s with a two week grind.

RC - 7

LR -7

LG - 3~

Any Tips ?

Last summer I did 7sage practice for the LSAT and finished the curriculum, however, I didn't do enough practice tests to be confident to take the LSAT that summer. Now, I'm planning on taking it in June, however, I stopped studying over the last semester because school was pretty busy. I was just wondering if anyone had any tips to get back into it because at this point, since its been around 3-4 months since I've even looked at LSAT stuff, I don't fully remember the stuff taught in the lessons before. I also don't want to go back and spend time on content review... but I also don't want to drill questions and PTs without having the strategies in my head to do better. Any tips to overcoming this dilemma lol...? I should note that I spent more time than I should've on content review in the summer so I honestly don't have as much practice applying the lessons taught in testing conditions or even in drilling (I know I was dumb for this lol)

Hi, I'm a new starter for LSAT - having read the Trainer, and started the courses and drills on 7Sage about a week ago.

I am a bit frustrated by the time pressure, cuz every guidebook tells you to complete certain steps when solving the questions, e.g. read the stem, stimulus, and the answers, then anticipate, eliminate and confirm the right answer, etc. But, however willing I am to complete all these steps, there's simply not enough time for me even just to read everything, not to mention the reasoning process, with RC especially so.

I'm not sure if this is the same for every new beginner, or more challenging for me as a non-native speaker - my job is an interpreter and I'm doing okay, so I would assume my language skills are not the biggest problem.

Are there any tips for me to increase my speed, the reading speed and the overall speed? Is such frustration over time pressure a common process for any new starter? How do you overcome it or improve on it please?

Please help!!! Many many thanks!

Locked Content

Anyone else just working on problem sets and everything got locked as if subscription wasn't paid. My last payment was end of May and it should last until June 21st. I'm really upset right now because I need to study, so why am I getting locked out of something I paid for?

Job inquiry - feeling lost

got into law school and when i got hired at firm 6 months ago and they asked i said i’d be applying in the next few years or haven’t thought about it besides speculating yet and want experience first. when i put in my notice how do i do it without completely tarnishing their view of me or without screwing them over? was advised to do this because everyone is replaceable and should look out for my own interests first and not have to disclose everything until timing is right, part of me feels unethical to lie and or to be honest about going to law school. also know that the bar contacts every place of employment. Pls no passive or unhelpful comments, clearly i am overthinking this and so sorry for the jumble but really need concrete advice and help as to what to do.

Video playback controls

Sometimes when I load a new lesson in the syllabus, the video playback controls like video speed do not show, just the time and play button. If I refresh, sometimes it shows up. But does anyone know why this is or how I can fix it?

Hello everyone. I have been studying here for the last few months. I plan on taking the lsat in 2024. However, I have realized that if you want to take the test remotely, you cannot do so on a Chromebook. Even if you want to take the test at an in person center, the lsat writing portion still has to be done remotely, and Chromebooks are still not allowed for that.

I have found some old posts online saying that if you request an accommodation, they will send you a test-appropriate device which you later return. However, these posts are all several years old, and I am not sure if they still do this. I can find very little about this online, and I wasn't sure where else to reach out but here. If anyone has some relevant knowledge/experience, I would greatly appreciate it.

I just signed up to 7Sage today. I have previously written 4 PTs and wish to just plug in my scores so I can add those to the analytics. However, when I try it thinks I want to take those PTs digitally. I was actually able to plug in 2 of the PTs in with the free version but now I am not able to do that with the other 2.

Thoughts?

reviewing PT

So, when I am reviewing my answers on a PT, and 9/10 of the answers I get correct say that "__ selected this, with an average score of 165", what does that mean? Should I be getting around that score?
