Hi everyone,

I had a question regarding the drill portion of each lesson.

Are we supposed to do it under timed conditions or untimed conditions? Also, do we have to blind review if were are doing it under untimed conditions?

Should we complete the entire lesson before moving on the to next lesson including drills?

Hi everyone,

I have been studying for the LSAT for about 4 months now, and I'm finally fully finished with my core curriculum. I am planning on now taking PTs. I'm having major anxiety about taking my first ever PT because I'm scared I will not perform too well since it will be my first time taking a full-length LSAT exam. I'm afraid of getting a very low score and feeling very discouraged afterward. I still struggle a lot with time, and I'm anxious this will get the best of me and cause me to perform horribly. If you have experienced something similar, please share how you overcame your anxiety about taking PTs.

Thank you in advance!

I just took my first PT doing all four sections for stamina. For BR, do you guys look at the second Logical Reasoning section, or do you check "simulate modern" to review only the other three sections since the actual test only has three scored sections?

I feel a con of looking at the second LR section would be that it takes up more time but a pro is that I'm obviously reviewing more questions. I'm just unsure what to do.

I’ll be taking the January 2023 test and am doing my first PT tomorrow (I know it’s a bit close). I’ll have accommodations for my disabilities with one of them being the option to pause the test anytime.

I looked at the 7sage practice test format and don’t see an option to pause the test anywhere. As I’m trying to replicate the real thing it’d be nice to have it on here. Is there no option on here or has anyone found it and I’m just overlooking it?

Ive been studying for the LSAT for a while now, I've done the core curriculum and all that. I write my LSAT in January to apply for fall admission. For months now I'm scoring 158-163 spamming PT's everyday, and I just seem to have hit my peak.

I only need to improve a couple points so I score in the 160-165 range consistently, as that will get me in the school I want. I'm just not sure how to improve anymore. It feels like I'm not getting better, I'm just doing PT's and getting the same score. Typically -5 on LR, -3 or 4 on LG, and -8 to -10 on RC.

Any tips? I wanted to do a tutoring session, but its too expensive for me.

I couldn’t speak more highly of 7Sage. J.Y. got me through the LSAT in three months, scoring 172 my very first time! I honestly couldn’t recommend their services more. You guys truly have an outstanding and spectacular team!

I haven't logged into 7Sage in a while because the application process got hectic but having received my first acceptance, I realized I owe a big thank you to 7Sage, my tutor, and the 7Sage Admissions Consulting team.

I started my LSAT journey feeling like I was doomed to fail (I'm pretty sure I took 35 mins to attempt my first Logic Game). I self-studied for a couple of months and was getting nowhere but when I started using 7Sage, things started to click. 7Sage was instrumental in getting me from 151 to low 160s and then I hit a big plateau. That's when I met @Mike_Ross who identified exactly why I was hitting a block and guided me through overcoming each specific challenge I had. By the end, he became part tutor, part psychologist, and part cheerleader. I don't think I would've gotten the score I did without him!

Then it was time to actually apply. As a first-gen student, I was scared of the process so I signed up for 7Sage consulting and had an amazing team to guide me through each step. Their professionalism and enthusiasm in my journey kept me sane and helped me present the best version of myself to schools.

So thank you! It takes a village and I am a perfect example of that.

Hi

I am thinking of doing a few drilling questions but I am afraid it is going to use up the precious PTs from 35 onwards. Does anyone know where the drilling questions are sourced? If they are only within 1-35 then I can do drills worry free.

Thanks so much.

I need help

I'm getting late 160s to early 170s BR, but still stuck in late 150s to early 160s in real time.

Is anyone familiar with teaching students at this stage?

Or better yet, anyone who's been in this situation?

I would love some tips.

I think my LG is good, but the rest...

I have four months till I take my LSAT in April and i'm still more than worried. I can't stop thinking about everything that can go wrong. I took my first diagnostic on the LSAC website but without the timer feature and got a 154. Which I was happy about to have never cracked open a book but now I realize, Its a possibility I set my self up for disappointment now that time is now a factor for me. I'm taking another diagnostic tomorrow and i'm really worried about beating myself up about whatever score I get.

I signed up for LSAC's field study which is coming up this Friday and Saturday. I am not sure how to schedule a day and time through LSAC. If anyone has signed up for this and knows how to schedule a time please lmk! Thank you.

Dear 7SAGE-ers,

I have been preparing for my LSAT for quite a few months now, am doing well on practice exams, but have a fair bit of variability between my scores. I have scored as high as 177 and as low as 163 on recent practice tests. As a result, I want to take the LSAT multiple times.

I have heard you can take three LSATs a testing year (from August-June) does that mean I could take the LSAT 3 times before that, and still take additional exams AFTER the June LSAT?

Cheers

Hey guys,

Is this the experimental section always the third or fourth section for the new online LSATs? I remember earlier when they first rolled out the online LSAT there was no experimental, but now there is.

There have been times in the past when I was doing a PT and I focused too much on the time remaining, causing myself to psych myself out. After that, I basically bombed the entire exam because I stressed myself out so much that I couldn't focus on the questions I was reading.

Have you guys experienced this, and do you have any tips for me?

Hello everyone!

I am writing this post for the first time and I am hoping to get some insight. I am stuck in the 159-161 score range I have gotten a 163 on my second last PT but I did pt 80 right now and got a 159. Super sad. I have been studying for months now and my scores per section vary quite a bit sometimes I manage to go -3 on LR but then RC ends up being difficult and that tanks my score. I am hoping to get around a 164-166 and I am registered for the January exam. I feel pretty good with logic games and its my favorite section I typically go around -2 or 3 but trying to bring it to a 0. I also noticed for some reason i do perfect on all grouping games ang get one or two wrong on the easy level 1 difficulty sequencing game but during br i get it all right? any tips are appreciated pls!!

I just finished my LSAT journey with 7Sage and I would love to thank everyone on the platform! The videos, comments, and forum has been extremely helpful and encouraging. I started out with a 155 diagnostic and just got 169 on the Nov LSAT! I wanted to write this post for encouragement and if there’s anyone that wants to chat about their journey, maybe need some tips etc, feel free to reach out! I know when I started out doing that LSAT, I was completely lost about what resources existed and how to prepare. I’m located in BC, Canada so I’ll probably be most helpful regarding Canadian law school applications! Anyone is welcome to send me a message!

Hi guys I'm in a rut. My Last 7 exams were 169/169/174/172/170/171/169. Wanted to know if anybody has been stuck in this range before and have gotten out of it. If yes what were some things that you did that allowed to you get out of this range and get consistently into the upper echelon of the score range?

Hi, so I finished the core curriculum and just did PT 36 time and in test day conditions. I usually do pretty well in practice with getting just 2-5 wrong. Today, however, I scored a 146.

During the test, I could hear my brother getting ready for work and my mom taking her lunch break. Its like the anxiety has heightened my senses to focus on those noises instead of the actual test. It left my mind blank when it came to answering the questions. I aim to take the LSAT Feb 2023, and now this has me second guessing everything I’ve done so far. Any tips from people who had similar issues?

Feeling discouraged that my LSAT score didn't go above 150 in the November exam, although my highest pt is a 159 and average a 154. I don't have the money for tutors or these expensive programs. What should I do? my score went from a 140 original to 150 , so there is progress but I need to rack up 160 for the competition in the schools I plan to apply to, now for next cycle instead of the following one.

I struggle most on LG but feel like LR here isn't the most helpful (the teaching style).

Any advice and guidance would be much appreciated.
