Not looking for extraneous detail or any thing, just wondering, its possible for the first section on the lsat to be experimental? Unlikely but possible, or is it truly random and totally possible on account of that randomness?

Hey Everyone,
Hope all is well! I've been studying since July and am looking for a tutor at this point in my LSAT journey. Anybody know where I should be looking?
For context, my diagnostic was a 156 and I've since built up to PTing around 164. On some occasions, I've scored as high as 170 on PTs. I scored a 163 on the October administration, and literally took November today where I was absolutely demoralized by the games section. This took place even though I committed the last month to intense focus on games. Thus, I'm pretty sure I didn't hit my target score of 170. If anyone is reading this, feel free to provide me some advice or send some tutors my way. I'm panicking! Thanks.
There's articles online from Kaplan that says this about the digital lsat:
"Test-takers are given a tablet, blank test booklet, and stylus/pen for test-taking."
Is this true?
current 3L here - I was watching Barbri videos on 1.75x speed which reminds of the time I was watching all JY vidoes on 1.5x speed. Contrary to my user name, I actually never got that 173 on LSAT, but did get into a T20 and will start in biglaw starting next summer.
Looking back it's amazing how much I've changed over the last 2.5 years of law school. I'm turning this into an AMA, so if you have questions or need encouragement ask away.

Anyone want to go over Practice Test 93(June 2020) tomorrow 11/11? I am taking the November LSAT on Saturday and thought it would be a nice way to do some light studying.
Apologies in advance for the urgency but I am taking the LSAT on Saturday and my account isn't linking to my LawHub Account. I paid for PrepPlus already.
I made a new account on 7sage instead of using my old account since it's older but now I'm having issues using the site specifically drills. it keeps asking me to link it and when I click the link or try via the email I received it says user is already registered to this coach.
Do I need to delete my other 7sage account?
I've been doing LR for some time and for so long have been stuck around -5/-4. I have a solid grasp on the question types and what they require me to do, but I'm also lazy and have, for my entire LSAT study journey, avoided fully diagramming and exploring the logic embed in LR questions. I can eliminate most answer choices based on general rules, such as "this answer is prescriptive and therefore wrong". However, this approach which isn't exactly thorough prevents me from fully understanding the logic structure embed in any given stimuli, and by extension, also from applying said logic structure to the answer choices. Thus, with my shortcut approach, not only am I consistently not improving, but also liable to do much worse when that intuition is hindered by pressure on test day (done the test 3 times)..
I joined on his live class on a whim, which requires the updated subscription to access ( I believe $99 a month?), and I am taking my LSAT 3 days from the time of this post. All I can say is, I wish something like this was available sooner. JY's logic diagramming within his explanation videos are good (I think?) but they don't cut quite as deep when compared to live classes that often lead to a 'no loose ends' analysis.
The pace of live classes are not fast, going over just a handful of questions in the 1:30 - 2 hours. With that being said, there were no questions that we went over in which I did not learn something new. In this sense, the analysis is thorough. This is surprising, because the questions asked by participants/7sagers during his live session often initially struck me as trivial. They almost always, however, lead to a point that I personally did not notice/consider/realize. For allot of the questions I considered easy, they could've very easily (if the LSAT makers wanted to) been turned into a 4/5 star level question, and in that case, what otherwise seemed like a trivial inference, has now become a critical component of the question - that I would've missed.
During class, JY said something along the lines of 'Even if your intuition works, you need to be able to prove it'. If you feel you lack in this regard, I recommend you join his LR live classes. Whilst, I cannot speak to the efficacy of this class for those scoring near perfect on LR, I think for everyone else, these live classes may very well be worthwhile.
Not an advertisement, just a guy who's been studying for this damn test longer than he should be. If you're on the fence, give it a try.
Pre-Phrasing is not perfect, but certainly can aid in eliminating questions. I am looking for Question Types that work very consistently with Pre-Phrasing. Below is a list of Questions Types that I believe work consistently, but I would love to create a discussion and get additional perspectives.
Main Point/Conclusion
Argument Part
Fill-In
Flaw
Parallel Flaw
Method of Reasoning
Parallel Method of Reasoning
Point of Agreement
Point of Disagreement
Counter

Is anyone else receiving an error when trying to access LawHub? I'm getting an error message that my access has been blocked...
Hi I have registered for November's test. My questions is how early should I log into the test? Or how early would I be allowed to log in? 10min, 20min, 30min, or just right on time? I learned that checking in might take up some time. Thank you!
HELP PLEASE!
I took my first official LSAT in October and I definitely did not do as good as I knew I could've. I was super nervous and I blacked out at the second section and I felt so disappointed in myself that I low-key gave up on the other sections, prompting me to get a score of 152. I'm going to take it again in January and hopefully I won't be as nervous and really be able to use my brain, knowledge, and skills I've learned for the past 8 months of studying.
SO, what should I do, should I cancel my 152 or keep it? I want to go to USC Gould and I know the LSAT range is a lot higher than what I got, but I know the next time I take it I'm giving it my all and not second-guessing myself as much as I did. So what do you guys suggest?
I am scheduled to write the November LSAT this Saturday and I still don't feel completely ready for it. I have not yet written my LSAT writing and haven't looked into it yet as I have been pretty focused on studying for the LSAT itself. I know there is the option to write the LSAT writing after the exam, but you may not receive your LSAT score until your writing sample is completed. Although the application deadline to my top two school choices is Dec 1, but I am waiting to get my score back to decide (depending on my score) if I want to cancel it and rewrite for the January exam. I am wondering how long it usually takes for LSAT score to come back and if I would be setting myself up by waiting and writing my written portion after my exam Saturday.
Any advice for someone whose score has been plateuing? I've been scoring in the low 160s consistently and just want to hear from those who have improved from this point. The questions I'm getting wrong are evenly spread out amongst the sections.
I know this has been asked prior but in light of 93 being released, anyone have their take on the hardest prep tests available to us currently? I've heard a lot about the high 80s and especially 84 but I wondered if there was a general consensus, despite the subjective nature of the experience. I got a 172 on 84 but I am curious if it was just easy/fluke or, if like some of the Reddit analyses I've read, it really was a difficult test for many.
Trying to figure out what snacks are best and the optimal thing to do during break to stay motivated
Thank you 7Sage for helping me achieve this dream of mine! My entire study process ran from January 2021 to October 2022 with a few breaks in between. I got to a 163 with two other test prep companies and then started to stall in June 2022. That's when I turned to 7Sage, largely for the affordability.
7Sage made all the difference with the focus on blind review (so key!) and the view of logic games as largely an exercise in muscle memory. Two other things that made a huge difference: 1) keeping an error journal and logging my mistakes and what I needed to do differently based on question type, and 2) learning how to do basic meditation to keep my mind calm during tests.
Ultimately, I had a 22 point jump and I credit so much of that to 7Sage. If you have a LSAT dream, I believe in you! You got this!
Can we use an ipad on the digital lsats? I'm confused how we're supposed to highlight or do any marking quickly if we have to use a mouse on a laptop rather than a stylus that can function like a pen
Hi, everyone, I'm new here! I've been studying for the LSAT for a couple months now (went through the Logic Games Bible and have taken about 5 practice tests - averaging 162, goal is 170), and so I'm wondering where I should start here. Given that I have only about two months until the January LSAT, should I work through the Core Curriculum, or should I take a PT to see where I'm weak and work on those specific areas?
I'd love to hear any advice anyone has.
Hi, is anyone interested in reviewing PT 93 together today or tomorrow before the November exam? I got a 178 but I was really lucky & want to go over some LR & RC questions. Please PM me and I'll send you a Zoom link :)
Howdy! Just hit my target score of 173 on the October LSAT - first attempt after 4 months of study. I worked with an incredible tutor to get here and I wanted to pass that forward. I haven't professionally tutored before so I'd like to offer some free tutoring to gain experience and see how I feel about it. I want to work with people aiming to score at their highest potential no matter what it takes :) I have some hours in the day to currently devote to this so please feel free to get in touch!
Hi,
I've been keeping track of all my answers that I've gotten wrong on PTs and in the CC, and hoping to make some drills to go back and do them a second time. I've already made a drill using 44 of the questions, but I can't edit it to be shorter/longer after creation, and any other drill I want I have to go through and input each individual question I got wrong in the CC.
Is there a faster way to do this that I don't know about? Maybe a way of creating custom tags/making all of these questions available in a certain spot to make a drill of any particular size?

Does anyone know the score conversion for PT 93? Is it reliable to score the test based on PT 91/92's scales? I took it on LawHub.
Thanks!
I registered the exam on Feb but I feel I am not prepared for it and kinda wanna cancel it. Will the schools I will apply know that I cancelled and never took a test?
