Does anyone else feel like the correct answer on this one, C, attacks the premise directly? The Stem says that if we lower opera production costs so that they can be funded purely by box office tickets, we can do away with large corporate sponsorships which only play the most famous operas. AC C (for a weakener Q) states that operas cannot be funded without the help of large corporate sponsorships. Is this question one of those very rare ones where we do in fact attack the premise or am I misunderstanding something else about this question?

Hello, I just want to know how this question is mapped out I am confused on why I am getting it wrong !!

I'm literally SO confused about this question. How are you supposed to diagram this?
From my understanding, "Unless A --> NOT B" is equivalent to..."-A --> -B"....right?
So, "Unless A OR B --> NOT C" would be diagrammed like "-A OR -B --> -C".......? (I might be wrong, idk)
The stimulus says, "Unless the building permit is obtained by Feb 1 OR some of the other activities are completed in less time --> the new library will NOT be completed on schedule."
And if you diagram this, it's equivalent to...."-obtained my Feb 1 OR -less time --> -completed on schedule...".....? But this seems to be wrong, according to the answer key.
Can someone explain to me how adding more than one sufficient condition to an "unless" statement changes how it should be diagrammed?

Hi,
Could someone kindly help me understand why/how A is the answer for this question if my interpretation below is incorrect?
I got this wrong. I picked C, but now I think I see why A is right and why C is is wrong. Is C wrong because it is merely stating a fact stated by the stimulus - that there will be more males to x # of females at both lakes therefore it's not some we are 'inferring'?
And, is A right because given the sex ratio information re: females and males in the stimulus, we know there will always be a lower percentage of adult males at Western than at Eastern Lake?
Any help is appreciated!

Hi all
I’m looking for any tips for memorizing the logical indicators (group 1, 2, 3, 4 and what to do with each of them). Does anyone have any tips? I tried Flashcards and electronic Flashcards but I’m just not a memorization person.
Hi everyone!
I just did a full LG section and was able to get through games 1-3 with almost 3-4 minutes under the recommended time. The fourth game, however, took me 7 minutes over the target time, which I felt was way too long. However, I finished the section within 35 minutes and got -1 on the entire section.
I will most definitely review this fourth game, but Im curious to know if this timing in game 4 means that there is a crack in my understanding? I know that on the actual test day, we can't know how long it took (or should have) taken us to do each game, but I am not sure what to make of me taking over 7 minutes the target time but still getting -1 over the entire section.
Would love to know yall's thoughts!
hey guys I am having some issues understanding some of the Core Curriculum especially logic. I would appreciate if someone can help thank you.
Hey everyone,
I am having some difficulty with the five star questions in logical reasoning sections. Often times, these are the only questions that I get wrong on a section. On one hand I suppose it’s good that I’m getting the 1 to 4 star questions consistently correct, however, I’m getting pretty irritated haha
The question types are across-the-board. There aren’t really any specific questions that I do worse or better on when it comes to five star questions.
What is your preferred method for improving this?
Thanks!
Can someone break down each answer choice?
Thank you
Do people BR all of the questions in the Problem Sets or just the ones that you have flagged? Based on what JY says in the BR section it seems to be that you ignore the ones that you don't circle? But in the comments everyone seems to BR everything
Could someone please explain why A is wrong? I chose E first and then read the conclusion again and thought that "necessary physical therapy" was some sort of a trap. Please #help. Thanks in advance!
I scored way lower than my first LSAT in August and the score is just too embarrassing to post. I did a whole course for months but evening classes didn't do much. Any recommendations on private tutors that aren't crazy expensive given I've already spent 1500 on a course that didn't help me? I hear good things of 7sage so here I am!
I took my first LSAT in April 2021 scoring a 150. I rewrote in November and scored a 161! Thank you 7Sage for helping me achieve this 11 point increase
my Nov score is WAY lower than the 158 I scored before
It’s definitely an anomaly….I screwed up my best section due to the last game on LG.
Should I forget it ever happened and run with the 158 from months before? Or retake in Jan? I wanted to apply this month, and I know the Jan test will have my apps on hold til Feb which is so late :( AND what if I cannot surpass 158.
My journey is over for now, thank you so much for this website for carrying me. Couldn't have done it without this great community. I wrote my first LSAT in June, got a 155. Wrote the second time in October but due to technical difficulties I wrote at the end of October and got a 160....... Wrote 2 weeks later since I already paid for it (didn't really study lol) and just got my November LSAT mark back at 166!
Trust me if I can do it, you can too. Good luck everyone going forward. Bye!
Thank you 7sage community for all the help, went from a 161 to 169. Not 170 but it's perfect in my book
Going to do the consulting hours now for the essays
I am feeling a bit discouraged. I scored a 149 was hoping for 157-162. I have been passively studying for a few months now. That is, I will spend like 2 weeks studying 2 hours a day, then get overwhelmed with life (grad school) and wont touch anything until the week of the test. I have a break from school for the next month, but is it realistic to try for that score on the Jan test? Feeling a little burnt out with school in general. I was hoping to start Law school in the fall and take spring and summer off and just enjoy myself.
Thoughts?
After two months of studying, I took my first LSAT. I had been PT'ing around 155-157, but I got a 148 on the November LSAT.
I don't know where I went wrong...I had not scored that low since my first practice test (146). At this point, I don't know where to go or what to do next. Advice?
So...as expected my judgement was correct and instead of increasing 6-7 points, I went in the opposite direction (157 to 151 despite PTing between 158-163 consistently). I have not been studying since this Nov test because I was experiencing a lot of burn out and needed a break. I've already dished out a lot $$$ for this test, and really believed I would score higher and help boost my applications as my GPA is on the lower side. Already spent enough $$$ on applications that were due prior to Dec 1st but how terrible would it look to committees to see a drop in scores? Not sure if I want to nor if I have enough time to prepare for the January LSAT. 😔
For reference purposes I am a Canadian applicant.
Just wanted to share my journey with everyone and express how happy I am that I found 7sage.
Started 7sage in the beginning of July 2021 and just got my score back from the November LSAT. Somehow even with the random disconnects and stops throughout the test I managed to get a 165. This was huge for me and things are finally looking up again. Thank you 7sage for being the resource I needed!
Hi. I got a 160 on the November 2021 LSAT. I'm not satisfied with this score, but I'd like to see how well I did on each section so that I can tell which sections need the most improvement for January. Where can you check for this?
Hey,
I apologize for the length of the post but would really appreciate if someone, anyone can share some advice for how to navigate a large LSAT score drop. My November 2020 score was a 166 and I just received my Nov 2021 score which was a 159, a 7 point decrease. I’ve been preparing for this retake for almost a year and I was PTing in the high 160s, breaking 170-172 one in every few tests. My last three PTs before the exam were all recent exams on which I scored 167-171 (even a 174 with BR). On test day, I felt decent after the exam. I noticed a relatively significant struggle with one RC passage and timing near the end of LG, but that’s not entirely uncommon, and usually places me toward the bottom of my range around a 165-167. I panicked a little at first when starting the test, but recognized the adrenaline rush and revisited those early questions that I felt were fogged by this response. As you can imagine, I am totally crushed about this score drop. I hadn’t scored a 159 on a single PT and was expecting mid to high 160s. It’s not the score itself (I am not looking to put down any scores!!) , but rather the work behind the retake and the look of this down trend. I really must have been off or out of it but I am honestly quite confused. Between work, burnout, and this score blow, I am not ready to jump into another administration, so while I could potentially retake in the spring, I am feeling far from up for it at this time and will need to carry on with the app cycle as it stands. At this time, the majority of my applications are in and I am hoping someone can advise on how to address this 7 point drop to the schools I have already submitted apps to. I’m sure there are reasons for the drop but I was genuinely shocked and confused; I don’t really know what to say. There is at least one school that requires I address this variance. Has anyone ever navigated a similar situation? Do I need to also submit an explanation to the schools that don’t explicitly ask for an explanation? I don’t want to search for false explanations or excuses. Can I give a more concise/cogent version of the above?
Apologies for the lengthy post. Many many many thanks for any input and I wish you all the scores and schools of your dreams. 🙏
Hi,
So I did not score high on the november lsat :( I got a 157.
I did have a five point increase from the last time I wrote the LSAT (152 in august). I'm unsure where to go from here study wise. Do I stick to my study method (1 PT a week, blind review, 7sage videos to help me with LR/LG I am struggling with)? Should I focus more on CC? I just originally felt like it was time consuming and wanted to start practicing sooner rather than later. Do i change it? Does any one with their successful score have any study method tips?
If it matters, I didn't get 7sage and use the study method above until september.
Please help!!!!!
So I had a really difficult time with this question because of answer choice A. When it says "takes for granted," is that saying the author is assuming the information in this choice to be true? And why isn't the information in A pointing out a flaw? If it were the case that a different advertising campaign would do better than the one LRG went with, wouldn't the marketing consultant's conclusion be invalid?

Does anyone have a LR study guide that I could use that explains the strategy for each question type?
