I got this one right and I think here is why: I took "defined categories of neurons" as referring to the receptors that constitute a family and since they are "similar enough that they constitute a family" and thus we can refer them as different enough to affect different parts of the brain and thus they "influence particular brain functions"
This is the first ever question that I got right under the recommended time. Usually I am always so over the recommended time!
100% recommend printing out and reading through Flaw Questions Cheat Sheet https://7sage.com/lessons/logical-reasoning/flaw-or-descriptive-weakening-questions/argument-flaw-cheat-sheet
Questions are ofc still hard but with this it is much easier to see the flaw right away
@emailradhey417 I bought a little notebook for LSAT where I keep a dictionary of the words I don't understand and then define them with examples :)
In the first lesson we talked about identifying the method of reasoning before jumping into the ACs. Here I think the method of reasoning is "Eliminating options or alternatives". I am not sure if it is necessary to do to figure out the right answer but it helps me a lot
@emilydermo393 The negation test is also pretty hard for me. I just try to think "What am I assuming when reading the stimulus?", "What are the simplest ideas that I am assuming?" that usually helps me to see those basic necessary assumptions before I go into the ACs. Then something along the lines of what I was thinking appears and that gives me more confidence in that answer. I also saw someone talk about "Well Duh" method in the chat a couple of questions ago and I noticed that if I can say "Well Duh" about an AC that is usually the right one haha. Also check out this video for more tips
I watched the ones on SA and NA. Thank you for making these. I finished CC a few months ago, and it was a good review. However, those questions were too easy. For easy questions, we can look at the video explanations. It is the hard questions that usually require more understanding. I would like to see harder questions in there next time
