if anything, E is a flawed link assumption. Just because color is harder to pass doesnt make natural pesticides easier. for all we know, the pesticides are harder for whatever reason, the answer also says "for ALMOST any other trait to be passed" that almost could leave out the pesticides

This all makes sense when you dont think of it linear. The diet itself was not the factor that made people have poor health, its the condition in which they suffer from that causes poor health.

B doesnt exactly make sense. By telling us what Primary does, its not telling us what Secondary does. Secondary itself tells us what it does. If secondary explanation wasn't in writing, then we couldn't possibly know what it does
