I'm aiming for a mid 150's+, I'm currently hitting low 150's after blind review.
Jon, good expln.../ however, this is a bad question. How can someone retaliate by simply saying we have a proven proof, therefore, he's not lying? The problem is see is that, I assume that Joseph wasnt aware of the evidence.
Attempting to address this: ". the arrows are pointing to /WS, and yet some relation is created between /GH and PTJ. why? I thought it was supposed to be pointing outwards for some relationship to work."
Why, you ask? well because you can derive a valid argument form. A ----> C & B some C will produce A some B... In this case: All of your WS are GH. All of them!!! Therefore it's gotta be true that at least one of your PTJ's is a GH. At least 1 implies some, right?
Also your understanding in saying "some points outward" is correct, if you based it on the knowledge that it points outward in both directions. Meaning there are some SC's that are NC and some NC's that are SC.. i.e.. SN NC.
I should also mention, that if you are interested in anyway, in having a Study Buddy, we can partner up via skype or online... I'm studying approximately 6-8hrs a day!
I'm aim for the December 2014 test, but am willing to push back to Feb. 2015.

Hey, hello guys. I'm new to this thing, but not new to LOGIC. Are there any places in which I can go and meet people in hopes of finding a good study buddy? I'm in the Tampa/ St. Pete area. I'm willing to cover those to cities.

These 2 words are often used interchangeably because of what they are and what they actually do, towards a common goal. That goal being the "conclusion".
Premise is a "stated" article. Support is a relation between premise(s) and conclusion. Premise(s) is/are article(s) provide support in order to reach the goal. ie. Conclusion.
Therefore, these words are different. Physically look them up, the definitions would be different. Another helpful way to analogize this is ......
ones an stated article/item and ones connector from article/item to concl.
PREMISE(s) SUPPORT , like glue
premise = stated article
support = given/ or accepted relationship
assumption = unstated article
conclusion = summation of all articles.
validity of conclusion = the degree in which the conclusion receives [support] from anatomy/articles.
Hope that helps
