Just wondering if I should switch over to the new site or continue using the classic site. I am done foundations, about 95% done the LR lessons, and about 75% done the RC lessons. I have not taken any PTs and I do not have too many extra drills done besides the You Try's within the curriculum and the drilling at the end of each set of lessons -- should I switch over or just stay on the classic site?

I had A but then switched to D in BR -- I am still a bit confused and unsure why exactly D is wrong. I understand why A is correct but I just do not get why D is wrong, any help please!!

could you also argue that for answer C it really does not have an effect on the population since those moving in are not being recorded within the survey, so it neither has a strengthening or weakening implication on the argument because they are not being accounted for anyway?

I feel like for questions like this with a lot of extra jargon, it becomes even more relevant to be able to parse the sentences and understand what the subject and predicate are. It becomes MUCH easier to understand the argument if you are able to ignore the modifiers and focus on the main subject, objects, predicate etc.

so instead of reading the sentence as "and the city’s financial predicament would not have been resolved if the traffic flow across the bridge during rush hour had not been increased" -- I simply read it as "the financial predicament wouldn't have been resolved if traffic was not increased"

Not necessarily. These two are independent from one another -- the killer whales' success in finding food is separate from whether there are changes in behaviour due to the noise. Whether they are successful in finding food or not may have to do with many other factors separate from behaviour, it is not implied nor does it follow that just because they do not seem to behave differently around the boat engines that they would probably be more successful in finding food in the absence of the boats.

In doing so you are assuming that there is an implied connection between the two despite the fact that the stimulus mentions nothing about their ability to hunt for food -- its main claims regard communication. Hope this helps!

I got the correct answer (B) but for those that chose (E) my reasoning for ruling that one out was just remembering that there are always outliers. Remember in the previous lesson where the graphs were shown as a visual for the relationship between A and B -- that is what I remembered to rule out E. Just because there are outliers does not negate the fact that a correlation still exists between two phenomenon. Hope this helps someone!

Nothing new -- It is just being made more explicit that this is a VERY common trap on the test and reiterating to not confuse sufficiency for necessity
