outing myself to remind myself to not force a pt when i am not feeling it! after a pretty great week of drills, i was feeling kinda mid and its ok not to be feeling great sometimes! i had to physically drag myself thru this pt and knew while i was writing that I wasn't going to perform as expected....do not let the stress of an upcoming write force lazy work! i BRd a few hours lately and went -2, -4, -4, -3 respectively. sucked doing BR too bc i was gen like "damn what was i thinking the whole time". DO NOT FALL FOR THE TRAP

@kozmo_hd once u get over 50% theres an indicator at the bottom of the chat, if u dont see it then ur under 50

this was the only level 5 question in this section i got right somehow........take in just about a third of the questions on this section are rated at a 5 wow!
does any1 have any tips, i did my BR directly after and the difference is pmo 😭 pls i feel like i do okayish during my drills and stuff but i swear every time i do an actual full test at once i be on some bs.. writing for october and my BRs have been between high 160s-170, i feel like my drills and BRs just arent indicative of my actual performance i feel like i doubt myself a ton when im doing a full test...

haii heres my process for doing this timed and correct in 1:33 (done during a 5-question timed drill) if anyone gaf (i am still improving at CR it is one of my weak spots lol)
did a fast read and was like ? the fact that i went ? told me that if im investing the extra seconds to read it again i HAVE to diagram it again, theres no point in me trying to mentally do it bc im not gonna automatically get it in a 5 sec difference - this was something i had to work on and i think its helped with timing a lot
roughly plotted it as the following (my diagramming may be wrong im sorry i suck at it):
m -> a -> b
some a -> NOT m
therefore, some B -> NOT m
keep the first line of ur diagram in the forefront when going down, that's the only way ur gonna be able to cut down answers fast enough. if it fails instantly do NOT keep reading. at some point if the first line matches, compare the second - if it doesn't match, keep it pushing sonion
i know a lot of ppl have suggested starting from the bottom up for these kinds of questions bc the writers r evil. i havent tried it yet, but i have trust issues (im working on it).. and it eases my mind a little to at least SKIM the answers esp on a question which i wasn't 100 on

got this wrong the first time, and then did a pseudo-ish blind review a few days later...realized i misread the stem and it was a rejection question lol...got it right 2nd pass fairly quick with poe. initially chose A on my misread as the stem being an MSS and rejected the others for the following:
A - this is too far a reach, what if Demos's friend was being a chud and not wanting to get up from his seat to come over
B - yea i dont know that fs from the stim lol
C - yea i dont know that fs from the stim lol
D - skipped it bc it was weird at first..but then its like everything else is certified garbage, this AC is like recycling...within the bounds of this question we are explicitly given a scenario that is similar to what D describes. it requires the smallest assumption out of them all, which is that the expression of amazement was a silent one. def not a comfy answer choice i get that tho ngl.
E - yea i dont know that fs from the stim lol

i briefly contemplated on E before locking in B, the easiest way to eliminate E is simply by it requires you to make too many assumptions. Especially if you are a bit familiar with how using a credit card works, you may go into a mini rabbit hole of fees and things like that, especially in connection to the line "to avoid carrying cash and writing checks". While yes we can assume it would be nice to have your cc work everywhere, it overreaches and preys on your notions of what would be desired (hello amex users)
dude i couldnt wrap my head around the wording of e for the life of me and it pmo bc i got this wrong both times...but how i finally understood ac E after sitting here and staring at it was to imagine this, but make it like some stupid drama:
