7Sage previous Webinar series gone??

I've been a long time member of 7Sage... I know the website used to have a section that stores all links for previously held webinars by Sages... but, it looks like the section has been removed from the website.

Is there any way we can have an access to previous webinar series?

Thanks

@ said:

No worries, happy to help. Sent the notes to everyone who asked.

Would it be possible for me to receive the file as well?

I really appreciate it! : )))

It will not give you disadvantage. Your application is "sent," but not "complete." Your application is complete when your LSAT score is in. If anything, it's actually better to send yoru app early w/o LSAT, because your app is more likely to be reviewed faster than the people who send their app after they receive their score.

LSAC GPA is only calculates the grades you earned until your first BA/BS. If you have received post-BA/BS grades, it will not be calculated for LSAC GPA.

JY's RC videos unusually longer?? (PT 58+)

I'm watching his RC reviews(PT 58+) and I noticed that his videos are unusually longer than the previous series...

Is it the first time he introduced the Low-Res/High-Res techniques and AB technique for comparative passages (and for the rest of PT58+) ???

P.S. I am VERY excited to listen to his detailed ver. reviews! : )

@ Thank you for your reply! I thought that both USA and International exam will use the exactly same format so the original PT 85 would not be available until all Int. students take the Oct. exam.

But I guess now that maybe Int. use the different format...??

Congratulations!! How many RC set (as in 4 passage = 1 set) did you normally practice a day? Also, what PT range (e.g., 40s, 70s, etc) have you done??

Thanks in advance : )

PT 85 (September 2018) Explanation Available?

Hi, I know that PT 85 USA (Sep. 2018) LSAT will be conducted in early Sep. (Sep. 9th).

Would it be possible for us to to see JY's complete explanations before the November exam (Nov. 17th)?

I am asking this because I know that PT 85 International LSAT will be held in mid-Oct. (Oct. 14th) instead of early Sep.

and I was wondering if this will affect the timing of his release of the explanation....

Thanks in advance : )

@ Hi Leah! Thank you for your comments. You mentioned that "most schools will be ok with reviewing with current score and not hold off on reviewing.

Would you mind if you could share which schools were OK with that? Thank you so much! : )

I think PT 1 to 16 or so have more weird types of flaws and stimulus.

As paulmv.benthem said, the later PTs are more straightforward.

Early PTs not necessarily harder, but just different styles than the modern ones.

Summary

Paragraph. 1 = Okapi > How to classify it?

- Not horse, - closest relative were giraffes.

Paragraph. 2 = Size of the Okapi?

- Not as rare as some zoologists suspected, - concentrated

in an extremely limited chain

Paragraph. 3 = Why they seem scarce?

- Camouflage, - do not travel in group: eating habit (leaves)

Paragraph. 4 = Other questions arise

- why do they prefer to remain within forested areas?

>defense against predators, >pushed by competition

- why okapis are absent from other nearby forest regions

that would seem hospitable to them?

>respect the once scarce forestland borders

Structure Review

Paragraph. 1 = raise the first question and then explain.

Paragraph. 2 = raise the second question and then explain.

Paragraph. 3 = expand on the scarcity part from the second question and

then explain.

Paragraph. 4 = two new questions about okapi behavior arise and then

explain.

Main point: Introduce some of the difficult questions about the okapi raised by the Zoologist and then explains.

Author's Purpose: just to describe the problems and tried to explain them.

Author's Tone: Neutral

I'm planning to take LSAT @ Southwestern this coming November. So far, I've heard that the desk is large enough to comfortably take the exam and the classroom size is well-balanced (up to 20 to 25 people max). I think it is probably the best test center in Los Angeles! : ) Good luck!

10 pints difference is huge. I personally would delay and take the exam in October. According to the LSAC, the score release will be on Oct. 31st, which is still considered "early" in cycle if you are worried about the submission timing. Prepare well and also get ready for application components and submit on the day you receive your score in October. Good luck!

For your future reference, the last LSAT exam in 2018 will be offered on November 17 (not December).

@ Hi Alex! Thank you very much for your insightful advice! One quick question: if you have no prior finance experience before Law school, but would like to make a transition into finance industry(i.g., IB/PE in-house) after working few years from big law in a related practice, will passing "CFA" exams be helpful in any way? Thank you once again for your help : )
