Can anyone explain why "achievement" in correct AC C is not unsupported by the passage? I chose E over C mainly on the basis the passage doesn't reference the male poets' achievements as being relevant. After review I understand why E is incorrect, just looking for more clarification on C!
@dh2303 a few of your comments have been super helpful to me over the course of my prep, and you seem to have had a really strong mastery of the lsat since you first starting posting on 7sage!! can i ask if you did prior prep from outside sources, or if you have any other tips to share for increasing one's baseline grasp of materials? thanks in advance. :)
does anyone have a list of other questions as hard as #13... I want to practice them all sdhfskdf
@Kevin_Lin So exciting!! What is the YouTube channel name so I can keep an eye out?
Do you have any questions to recommend an applicant ask themselves while brainstorming/drafting up their "why law" statements?
Should applicants tailor their personal statements to what they think a school is looking for? E.g., more cookie-cutter "why law" motivations for target/safety schools vs. more standout "why law" motivations for T14 schools?
Any insights on admissions officers' current views on discussion of diversity after the end of affirmative action? I've heard plenty of podcasts/articles from when the decision came out, but I'm wondering what some common sentiments are now that a few cycles have passed (i.e., if an applicant discusses their racial/ethnic background, should they make a whole essay about it? Is it frowned upon to mention it briefly where it fits in an essay?)
Should a law school resume be one page in the same way that a resume should be one page when applying for a job? When I apply, since undergrad, I'll have held ~2 years full time work experience, but a 1-year year gap filled with 3 part time positions (substitute teaching + interesting food service industry experience). 3 part time positions would hog precious space on a one page resume and is not as strong as my full time + undergrad experience, but it does show work ethic and accounts for a resume gap. Please advise — thanks!
@MarcusTsang this is so helpful thank you! Can I ask what a wrong answer journal is? Do you do it for every question you get wrong, or only on PTs?
when doing full PT BR, is it recommended i do 7sage's "recommended for BR" questions in addition to the ones i flag?
in #3, can anyone help me understand why there is no predicate-object? I though it would be "black holes," but there is none identified in the answer
tiger analogy: not all cheeses are suitable for a dinner party. after all, gorgonzola is very pungent and can cause strong physical reactions.
disney analogy: members of the University of Chancellor Alumni Club can now access discounted parking passse. Those who have donated $100 to the UC Regents can download their discounted parking pass online. All other members must plead to their Chancellor. Joe is a member of the UC Alumni Club. He has a discounted parking pass yet he has never plead to anyone or anything. Therefore, Joe must have donated $100 to the UC Regents.
detective analogy: The side wall to the bank is destroyed and its contents, including cash from the safe, strewn about. Mr. Brown is sitting on a bench, smug, counting dollar bills in his wallet the way he does after receiving cash. My hypothesis is that Mr. Brown is the guilty party, having intentionally destroyed the bank wall to access the cash in the safe.
@dh2303 Thank you so much, I appreciate your perspective and words of advice!
