For number 4 i selected D because when the advantages/disadvantages are given, it is said how oral testimonies could be "inaccurate". How come this doesn't support answer choice D?

Which LG is this

There was a logic game that has like 12 days or something, and the rules made it so day 1 was equivalent to day 7, day 2 equal to day 8, day 3 to day 9, etc. Do you guys know which game it was?

For E, doesn't one have to assume that a convicted criminal "fraudulently obtained funds"

LG Anxiety

Logic games used to be like another language to me but it has gotten to be my best section as of now. However, when the clock is ticking, everything i know about LG seems to go out the window. When I BR my test (during untimed conditions of corse), all the inferences that i should have made under timed conditions come to me almost instantly. Its extremely frustrating that I can do them but the pressure of time prevents me from performing to my full capability. I imagine it is because one can reasonably anticipate what the RC and LR will entail but with LG they can really throw anything at you. Does anyone else have this issue? Any tips or advice would be appreciated. I really want to get LG down pat as i'm taking the lsat next week (Feb 4th). Freezing up on LG is dramatically bringing my score down from what it can be even though I feel most prepared for it.

Scholarship for transferring?

If you are in a school, say American, and want to transfer to say Vanderbilt. Lets say you get 15k a semester from American for tuition. Would you be able to get a scholarship if you transferred to Vanderbilt? How does that work?

Law school admissions have personal statements you must complete to apply. However, many have different requirements such as "2-5 pages" or "250 word max," so I am assuming you cant really write a generic one because it might violate those directions (for example 250 word max is about a page). A lot of schools I have looked up dont seem to have any directions or even mention personal statement on their law admissions page (WashU for example). Where do you find out the specific directions for the personal statement?

B was attractive to me because one must assume if the visitors increased, the tax revenue increased because visitors were spending more money. Can someone explain why this is wrong?

I think JYs explanation for answer B is only partially correct. The first two mistakes he mentions are valid, however the "inferred from" one that he criticizes I believe he has no reason to. Even if the ratio from bone to blood levels of nitrogen isnt the same (lets say its 2x more in blood), its still ok. The point of inferred from is to say that we are able to determine and compare the amount of nitrogen content between bone and blood. So if the blood had 49 units, we can still compare that amount to the bone, regardless of the ratio.

I chose A. Can one really assume that the study discussed the relationship between exercise and blood cholesterol levels? It doesn't explicitly say so.

I eliminated B because of "other mountainous regions'. That made it seem like an irrelevant comparison to me because what does that have to do with the rocky mountains? Can someone clear that up for me?

Doesn't answer choice A simply fail the sufficient condition (Function Autonomusly/)? There could be another way for them to be maximally realistic?

@ That is a good point about it wasting time. I just wish there was an easier way to determine the difficulty of the question without having to read it haha. If i read a problem and find out its hard, i have already invested time into it thus making me feel i should at least make the best educated guess i can.

LR and skipping

I have noticed my order of doing LR q's makes or breaks my score. What are some methods you guys use for skipping and doing questions. I usually do 1-10 regardless, then usually the next 5. Then work my way from question 25/26 backward while skipping to do question types i feel comfortable with.

It is normal to do 3-4 points lower than anticipated on test day. In June there should be less anxiety so you should see improvement with more practice.

I think one of the most helpful things in watching these videos about flaw questions is J.Y. offers examples of what the wrong flaws are saying. That has really helped me in identifying the flaw when i see it in a future question. Often times i don't really understand what the flaw is saying in its abstract language and this helps a bunch.

I selected D skeptically. It says "seventeenth-century art dealers paid the minor artists". It doesn't say the MAJOR artists paid them which would imply the credit attributed to them was erroneous. Is it valid to assume that the major artists paid them?
