this made me think of the incredibles
Syndrome: I'll sell my inventions so that everyone can be superheroes. Everyone can be super! And when everyone's super...
[laughs maniacally]
Syndrome : ...no one will be.
I hate that we get these replacement videos. I'd prefer JY writing out explanations to each question than having to watch a 15-minute video from a tutor.
#feedback ^ I totally agree, Kate. This is what led me to choose E in the first place. The only reason I chose A in the blind review is because I came to the same thought JY had, that is, how do we know the occasions in answer E overlapped?
But, like you, I don't understand the reasoning here. Just because Penn didn't receive the award, doesn't mean he wasn't eligible in the first place. He could've just not met one of the conditions, that is, not saving someone's life and exceeding something reasonably expected of a police officers. Can anyone chime in here?
ya definitely, this was one of the quickest questions to answer lol
I understand that JY's video is not available yet, but it would be helpful to have JY's written explanation to this question handy while waiting for the video. #feedback
It would be helpful to know the difficulty level of these questions too, just like the "You Try" questions. A simple indicator of the difficulty level would be great. #feedback
ok but if you're reading this, this is a reminder that you should be wearing sunscreen everyday.
proud of myself for doing this chain correctly, those foundations are paying off!
#feedback #help ^^ I agree with OP. I would love another explanation as to why B is incorrect.
Waller: If there were really such a thing as extrasensory perception, it would be generally accepted by the public, since anyone with extrasensory powers would be able to convince the general public of its existence by clearly demonstrating those powers. Indeed, anyone who was recognized to have such powers would achieve wealth and renown.
He literally says "demonstrating." Is B wrong because we're going off the premise and not the conclusion?
thanks, totally missed that. written out for everyone to see below:
