I chose E and then three questions later I returned to this question and changed my answer to C. Can someone explain to me why C is wrong? Isn't the author assuming that a PIECE ("isolated parts of nature") has the same as properties as the WHOLE? Is this incorrect because we're supposed to take "Furthermore it can be best understood as a whole..." at face value? #help

This answer choice explanation does not help me at all. Anyone able to explain it another way? All I can focus on is "new" plastic and how that maybe has nothing to do with recycling of plastic. #help

This question is extremely difficult for me. Every time I come back to it I get it wrong. Anyone else choose A or E? I usually choose one of those two.

what REALLY threw me off was the use of the word autobiographical in the first sentence. Because of this, I went through most of the passage thinking that Nisa wrote the entire text and Marjorie Shostak was her European name :/

I thought A was a trick answer to Q2. In the second paragraph the author lists his sources and he doesn't once mention the collection memorabilia....

Love that this question is answered. I'm trying to hit all 95 hours of my CC by going in order and it's taking a really long time. I wonder if I'm even retaining it at this point? Or able to apply it to Actual problems? Started the first week of October and feeling unmotivated.

Thanks, David! Great webinar. Your tip about keeping resume bullet points down to 2 per item was completely new information for me and I'm glad I learned about it sooner rather than later.

This stimulus was extremely confusing for me. I understood that James was saying that people must not understand complex issues since they're choosing to support him. And that James is implying that if they understood his discussion of complex issues then they would not vote for him... #help2

Body double studying for April?

Hey there,

Anyone interested in virtually body doubling for April's test? We'd zoom while studying separately but the body double aspect helps your brain stay on task. It's like getting the pros of studying in a coffee shop without having to deal with loud talking and spending money every study session. We could also follow the pomodoro method while studying so we have built-in breaks with our study blocks. I just took the January test and I'm waiting until first week of February to resume studying. No official score but the four PTs I've taken ranged from 159-165. I need to buckle down and learn LG until it's second nature for me. Will also be drilling a lot of RC and then toward the end of my prep I'll be doing the PTs in the 80s and 90s.

I'm Mountain Standard time and during the week I'll be available to study from 7 pm-9 pm. Maybe even 5 am - 6 am as the test gets closer.

Drop a comment if interested!

Ive heard horror stories about OCU Law. I have a former boss who went there and lost her full ride after 1L because she didn’t meet the gpa stipulation. She said most classmates lost their scholarships for the same reason.

On 27, why isn't A correct???? A is saying that uplift agreements make the legal system more accessible to low-income folks. How does that not undermine the author stating that adopting uplift agreements would make the legal system would lower access? I get that we're talking about three different income level groups but still. And how in the world is B correct for 27??? #help

@ Thanks! I'm going to start doing that plus using the notes feature to keep track of each time I do a game + time + score + which questions I found difficult

@ Wow, thanks for the additional encouragement! That really was helpful, even though I know that you have some very strong and unique softs. I'm going to keep chugging along! Congratulations on those acceptances and $$$!

I don't understand why Q12 is B.

Third paragraph says "at least once" which implies min. 1

Answer choice B states "ALMOST ALL the others [besides our hero] failed." which implies min. 2.

How do these two answers line up in an analogy?

Wow. It takes me days to write an essay on the computer but I can do timed handwritten essays like nobody's business. Blank white screens give me writer's block. Now I HAVE to take the test by March 2019. Khan Academy has digital PTs that you should check out if you're considering the Sept. exam.

Thank you all for the good advice!

I’m shooting for something higher than a 163 because my 2.7 ugpa is so low. Even my actual 3.0 college transcript gpa is well below the 25th for every school so no use crying over spilled milk at this point. All I can really do is take advantage of the opportunity to study for the lsat.

If I’m being honest I think the following is why I’m having such a hard time buckling down…

I know that my top school has accepted almost everyone with my stats, but I don’t want to ever look back and regret not trying. My top school is the only law school in my state and they weirdly don’t seem to take lsat scores into account when awarding scholarships. They seem to make their scholarship awards based on PS and resume. Tuition is only 16k a year so 48k for three years of tuition and a 90% bar passage rate seem like a steal compared to other schools. I keep having to convince myself that even with my gpa other schools are still going to consider giving me money if I kill the lsat. I’m the first person in my family to attend/graduate college so student loan debt terrifies me.

PS I bought the PT that was on sale and extended until Feb. I had no idea that was an option. Thank you, @ ! If I make significant progress on the CC, I’m going to consider upgrading for the grader and analytics like @ suggested. You all are so supportive and great.

PPS I have another question about the CC that probably has an obvious answer. I'm in the LG section. Did you all work out a game board and do the Qs before watching the accompanying videos? Or did you do game board, check the video, then proceed with the Qs?

Am I missing something in the video feature?

Whenever I click alternate explanation, or I try to play a video explanation from the drill set interface, the video doesn't have any images. I can hear JY's voice, and I see a blue cursor moving around, but no text or diagramming or anything. Is this a browser issue? It doesn't work on either computers I've tried, nor my phone's browser.

To renew or not?

Hi everyone!

I would love some advice on whether or not to extend my 7sage subscription. My diagnostic score was 163. This wasn't a "cold" diagnostic as I'd read the PS logic bible front to back before doing a practice test. Two weeks after my first practice test I took my third practice test administered by my local law school under proctored conditions and I again scored a 163.

My plan was to really study and crush the lsat. I graduated college 4 years ago and my ugpa is a paltry 2.7. I'm a good test taker and I thought that my lsat, coupled with my work experience, could somewhat make up for my gpa. I've only made it through 35 hours of the CC. I love the 7sage method of teaching but the fact that I can't even make it through the CC is making me rethink my entire plan. Before coming over to 7sage, I tried Kaplan for a month. My score didn't improve at all and I continued to score 162-163.

I've worked in law firms. I've written motions and briefs. I have plenty of experience conducting intakes. I Like legal work but this whole process is discouraging.

Can you all tell me how you got through the CC? Did you jump around topics? I'm going through the syllabus in sequential order. Did you work at coffee shops? library? home?

I know what's best for me is highly dependent on my own life circumstances but I would really like some advice from others looking to make the law school plunge.

Thank you!
