A guarantee is not, ironically, a guarantee that you'll get exactly what you order. A guarantee is just a promise that you'll probably get what you ordered, and if you don't, the company will make it right by giving you a refund or a replacement.
This took me 10 minutes to get, because I kept going over the grammar and was flummoxed. But I got it! And JY's explanation made me LOL, because I was wondering for a minute if Pat was an entitled jerk who just insisted on getting the coupon where she wanted to get it.
This explanation definitely helped me. Thanks @boyce12brandon!
"Given that the definition of "most" is "half plus one," the two scoops from A must overlap by at least one member. That one member transfers to B and to C. That necessarily creates an overlap between B and C."
What the heck does this mean?
Because the word "only" is the comparative indicator. That means it falls into group 2, and the rule is that the phrase immediately following a group 2 indicator means it is a necessary condition. Necessary condition comes second in the formula. So when you figure out which phrases in the sentence are being compared, the one immediately after the Group 2 indicator comes second. So it becomes Nest --> High or /high --> /nest
I was coming here to say this! There might be other ways to get the Genie+ pass.
I really don't understand why C doesn't work, even after the explanation. The assumption can still be true but the conclusion false -- why is this wrong?
