Study Group

Hello,

I just joined 7sage and I'm looking to study with some people. It's always helpful to bounce off ideas from other people and get different prospective on the test. If there is one currently going on please let me know or we can start a new one. I'm pretty flexible. Thank you!!!!!

Hello,

I am looking for a study group in the Boston, MA area. I am looking to create a group of individuals interested in teaching and learning from others, while acting to keep one another accountable. I have no preference for scores or actual test date. I hope to apply next cycle so I aim to have the LSAT done before then. If you're in the area please consider reaching out! Thank you.

I'm on the hunt for a study buddy or study buddies to join me on my LSAT prep journey. I'm looking for someone who are committed and driven.

Here's a bit about where I'm at: I've been scoring in the 168-172 range, with my best performance hitting 177 (somehow!). I was initially signed up for the September LSAT, but I decided to drop it because I didn't feel consistent yet. My new plan is to take the October test.

My study routine involves taking one practice test per week and doing focused drilling. I've mastered LG, so I'm looking to improve my RC and LR. Of course, if you need help with LG or any other area, I'm more than willing to help.

I propose that we meet at least twice or three times a week to study together, review materials, and keep each other motivated and on track. Don't hesitate to reach out.

Study buddy or Group

Looking for a study buddy but prefer to have a group of people where we can discuss questions and help each other out once a week and just keep accountability or just a group chat to ask questions. Im studying on my own and it can feel exhausting sometimes especially when there's no one else to ask help for on a question! Mostly looking for those scoring anywhere from 140s to 160.

Diagnostic was 157, currently scoring 173 in untimed.

I'm prepping for the October intl. exam this year and aiming for 170+ or 175.

Looking for people with similar goals, or just about anyone who's studying for the LSAT and are in their final year at uni or finished with undergraduate studies. Group study can be offline or online, goal is to build an IRL Lsat support group.

Language isn't a problem so anyone's welcome. People in similar time zones are welcome as well!

Hello all! I am looking for a LSAT study buddy, a study group and people to share resources with. I recently started my studying journey. I am aiming for the Oct or Nov LSAT but it all depends on when I feel ready. I am open to Skype, Zoom, text, calls, facetime etc. I am in the eastern time zone.

👥 Study Group Name: It Depends

🔢 I'm currently scoring: 149-157, aiming for 170 or higher

📆 My planned test date: November 2023

📈 To study, I have: Gone through CCv2, have taken a few PTs, and took the August 2023 LSAT. Retaking in November, so I'm not starting from scratch.

🔑 My goals for this group are: to keep each other on track with study schedules, thoroughly review sections

🔍 We'll focus on: Each section lol

📚 When we'll meet and what we'll do: Wednesdays 7pm MST on Zoom, maybe more frequently if that works for anyone. I plan on having the group do the same PTs or practice sections separately, and we can review the material each week together and go over tricky questions.

Are you looking for an easy way to find people to study with? Or do you just want a break from reviewing questions on your own?

You're in luck! Join us for our next "Study Group Breakout" on Tuesday, January 17th from 9:00-10:30pm ET.

Here's how it works:

  • Register for the Breakout no later than Monday, January 16th.
  • Take PT53 Section 4 (based on 7Sage's numbering - should be an RC section) and blind review it, but DON'T look at the answers (I suggest you take it as a "Drill" rather than as a PrepTest)!
  • Log in to the Breakout Session at the appointed time. We will automatically place you in a group of 3-5 students with similar scores so you can review the section together.
  • At the end of the session, you can exchange emails and keep meeting if you enjoyed the group.
  • Hope to see you there! Register for the event using this link: https://7sage.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZAscumtrjstH9OvAcj_2ZzFuQoTnlomB8Vi

Hey ya'll I would love to form a study group of about 3-4 people to review LR. I have been PTing in the high 160s to low 170s for a while now, but I really struggled with PT 85 LR and one of the LR sections on the August test. I generally get about -3/-4 on a LR section. I do not want to burn more PTs as of now so I would love a study group to review older exams and walk through our individual approach. Let me know if interested!

I started studying in July and am taking the October LSAT. I’m hoping a group will allow us to start a routine and hold each other accountable.

To Study I have been primarily drilling.

My goals for the group are: To hold each other accountable and set a schedule for us to meet, drill, review, & discuss.

We’ll focus on: Primarily Logic Games & Logical Reasoning.

When well meet: Ideally Twice a week (or more) for 2-4 hour sessions.

If you’re currently scoring above a 170 you are more than welcome to join, I just don’t want to hold you back because I’m not there yet.

Hi! Not sure if this is a weird request but TLDR: trying to do one practice test a day (MINUS THE LOGIC GAMES SECTION) with someone over zoom (or something) because I keep getting distracted while taking tests and it's bad! Also I've never had a study buddy before and I feel like it would be nice.

Looking for someone who is willing to do this with me from 10:30 AM ET to 12:30 PM ET or so (can go a bit earlier or later, I'm actually pretty flexible with time so just reach out if you're even a little interested! It doesn't even have to be every day). We can use the leftover time to go over wrong questions (which there won't be a lot of, hopefully!!) and concerns/strategies. Again, not looking to do the logic games sections together. Currently scoring in the 177 range but am looking for a 180. Sorry if this sounds kind of hellish!! Please DM me if interested :) I'm currently on ptest 70 or so because I started at like 65 or something, but am flexible with which ptests we do.

    🔢 I'm currently scoring: 177-178

📆 My planned test date: Sept 7 or maybe 8 I forget

📈 To study, I have been: Taking 1 ptest a day, just started trying drills on hardest mode

🔑 My goals for this group are: to hold each other accountable

🔍 We'll focus on: Reading Comp and Logical Reasoning

📚 When we'll meet and what we'll do: Daily, hopefully? Or even every other day, or even once every 3 days. Kind of up to you/how many people are okay with this LOL

✅ How to join: DM me if interested! If it ends up being a group that'd be nice.

If this is relevant, I'll be doing the questions w paper and pencil and also will be in a starbucks or something! Also I'm a woman if that makes you more comfortable.

Calling all 7Sagers looking for an effective way to study together!

We've put together three Discord servers that you may join to streamline the process of finding study groups that actually help you reach your goals. We've organized them into three LSAT Reported Score bands: the 145-155 range, 155-165, and 165-175+. Feel free to join one of these based on where you're already scoring on recent PrepTests and/or whichever range best fits your goals!

(UPDATE 8/21: the invite links broke AGAIN; they have NOW been replaced. I promise I'm selecting "set this link to never expire" but they keep expiring anyways! If anyone is a Discord genius please DM me.)

These groups will only work if you all contribute to them. So please––join, explore, start new conversations, respond to others, and keep thinking about how to make these even better! Comment below this post with any and all questions.

⛵️ Bon voyage, new Study Group members! ⛵️

Hello, I keep seeing people posting about making a group chat, but it goes nowhere. I’m taking my test in September and seriously looking for people to join a group chat where we can motivate help and encourage each other. Message me or comment usernames if interested.

    Hey y’all!

I am just getting started on my LSAT study journey despite me only being a incoming junior. I am planning to apply for law school in 2024. My diagnostic was a 142 sadly, and I am aiming for mid 170s by senior year. I am looking to study as early as I can just so I can be fully prepared for the real deal. I would love to connect with some people who are also looking for study buddies and to hold each other accountable and progress together! :)
