I recently started the LSAT starter and have not had any prep tests, besides the one given in the trial. I've looked through the syllabus and do not see may prep tests, until the end of the program. Shouldn't there be prep tests throughout the starter program?

I am confused as to why A is the answer choice and not B.
According to Kaplan, they say if A is correct then it'll be a rare candidate who takes a chance on the authors strategy, as the media may only air the opposition and disregard the later support. They further that by stating that media is a huge part of national campaigning. But wouldn't that be an outside assumption we would make. And aren't we only suppose to take what is given within the stimulus to support our answers? Because that is why I disregarded A as an answer, thinking who cares what the media covers because it doesn't limit the SPEECH, the speech is still given and still heard from those attending and such. Where as if you choose B if many people do not find politicians in the first place then that would make practically any strategy they choose ineffective, no one trust them... Can someone help me where my thinking has gone wrong here?

I have questions about (B) and (D)
First of all, an answer choice like (B), "ignore the possibility of benefits from lowering speed limits "other than" environmental and safety benefits.
I can see sometimes it's a right answer because a flaw is an author doesn't consider other factors except for the factors mentioned in a stimulus. But sometimes it's a wrong answer because it's out of scope just like Q.14.
So I can't really find out what kind of stimulus should be if an answer choice like (B) is a right answer.
Whenever I encounter an answer choice like (B), I'm always stuck.
Lastly, about (D), how is it still a right answer? Shouldn't it say both saving lives and protecting the environment just like the author says?
I mean it only says about "protecting the environment" and doesn't say about "saving lives". So that's why I entirely don't understand why D is an answer.
Can anyone explain me?
Thanks!
I have been at times confused about the exact meaning of attacking a premise.
When a stimulus includes a study that says, for example, most people with certain genes hate apples in a weaken question, if an answer choice says "some studies show that most people with the same genes do not hate apples," this is considered as attacking the premise, right?
But if an answer choice says something that implies that the study did not include enough people to provide a legitimate level of support, it is not attacking the premise.
Is it a correct way of understanding the concept of attacking a premise?
I was working on PT33 LR Section 3 Q.8. The stimulus starts with "Most people invest in the stock market without doing any research of their own." Turning it into Lawgic. At first I did "People research/ -most-> invest" But my instinct says "Invest -most-> research/" is also right. Because when I ask "what do I know about these investors?" The answer I get is "Most of them do not do research."
However, the conditional Lawgic rule states "without=sufficient negation."
I am sooo confused.
Can anyone help me?
Any general tips will help ! I have yet to see any improvements after studying a month
Hi all - I'm taking the LSAT for the first time and I'd love to find a study buddy to stay motivated and on schedule. Let me know if you're interested!
I saw this clip on YouTube about the death penalty and I thought it was really interesting and something us future lawyers should think about...
LSAT
Hi there,
I don't want to waste the problem sets so I can return to them later, but I want to make sure I'm getting the most out of them. How many problem sets should I do before moving on to the next lesson?
I'm sorry if this was answered elsewhere, but I couldn't see the answer anywhere!
Thanks!
I finished my first quiz of the course on MC. I got 8/10 and did it in 12.29min. I missed the 2 due picking the wrong conclusion (no indicators). This is easy if you can find the conclusion in the stimulus, all you have to do is find it paraphrased as an answer. I got the rest right so not to think I can't identify a conclusion with no indicators. But, you can tell it's not my strongest pursuit I guess.
How do you suggest I take the next step? I only had one quiz set so there's no more practice left through 7sage. Should I move on to learn about MSS... it's my next lesson. Or should I practice more MC with old PT's? If I practice more, how much more before I move on to my next lesson? FYI taking the Sept LSAT.
Thanks!

I know the prep test are limited and to be used wisely (i.e. blind review and review all wrong answers), yet I am still scared of the fact that I may use my last 50 prep test wrongly, and will never be able to increase my score again. I know I should get over that fact, and just keep practicing questions, games, and passages, but I just want to confirm that I am using my material wisely. I go over wrong questions and question I am short of 100% certainty with. Can someone please get my fear of using material to go away, or tell me how to correctly use the rest of my practice tests?
Hi, I currently am prepping with fully 5-section timed in 161, and I am registering for the June LSAT in Asia. I am for a 167. In my timed section when I did them separately a in early May, I got high 160s low 170s consistently. I then stopped for 2 weeks for my finals and resumed again since late May after my exams. From then I started with full timed tests of late 50s-early 60s tests and got 161 in all those tests. I tried to drill into each sections but my scores do not seem to rise at all. LG used to be my best section where I got -0,-2 consistently in the 40s tests, but now I can't seem to get it off the -5,-4 level due to either I misread a rule or I make silly mistakes with inferences. RC is my worse section where I got -4 at my best if I do individual sections. LR is also erratic as I often got -2.-3 in May, and also in J07 test which I did as a full test rather than diagnosis, but now my best is usually -5. Do you have any suggestions on how to improve points in my case? Would it be wise for me to postpone the test till Sep if I don't see major improvement in the next week? (My test will be late June, ie 2 weeks from now)
Thank you in advance for your help. Hope you all did brilliantly for the June test!
Hey Everyone,
I just graduated from University (April 2014) and am planning to write the LSAT September 2014. However, I will not be entering law school until September 2015 (assuming I get accepted). So my question is, I would like to maximize my experience throughout my year off, and would like to hear some suggestions of viable experience options. I will certainly be looking for a full-time/part-time job in order to make some money before entering school for another 3 years, but is there a particular type of job I should look for that would aid me in not only getting accepted to law school, but also potentially aiding my career down the line. Also, is there any places I could volunteer to get some extra experience? I understand it is hard to get experience without having a law degree and what not, but I am looking for some minor things I could do, to give me that extra boost.
Thanks in advance.
I have a problem turning the necessary condition into words sometimes.
For example, the sufficient condition reads well:
Zombies attacking the city makes it sufficient for me to know the market will sink.
Z -> S
But for the necessary:
the market sinking is necessary for me to know that zombies attacked?
The market sinking is necessary for zombies to attack the city?
or maybe
It's necessary for the market to sink if zombies attack the city?
How do I make this into English correctly?
Could someone please provide some example sentences where "will" is used as an indicator for a necessary condition?
Hey, if anybody in NY (Brooklyn) wants a free copy of Mike Kim's LSAT trainer, the Logic Games Bible from powerscore and (I don't know why you would but...) marked and scored books of PTs 52-61, 29-31 and 61-71 you're welcome to come any of it. Just come pick it up anytime before the 17th of this month. PM me and we can figure it out.
EDIT - ALL GONE.
JY- how can I find that really cool admissions chart that was posted a few weeks ago? Now that I've taken my first LSAT I want to give it another look :) Thanks!
I just decided to Retake in June, with the hopes of getting off the waitlist at a school that I really want to attend. I just discovered this site...keeping in mind that exam is 10.5 weeks away, and that I'll be putting in 20+ hours of prep work a week - is the 7Sage starter package a good fit for me?
If anyone is in the Atlanta area and want to meet up to study please let me know. Also, we could Skype or whatever as well.
Looking for an LSAT study buddy in metro Atlanta for September/ December LSAT.
I'm just took the June LSAT, and I basically took it cold turkey (stop judging me, I can practically feel the disgusted glares as I type). I am already planning on taking another one in the Fall, but I can't decide if it would be better for me to take the September test and have a guaranteed early admin result, or to wait until December and have more time to really study. I'm expecting this score to be somewhere in the 150's, and honestly the test doesn't really stress me out, I just want to be confident in achieving a higher score. I know that I am capable of the score that I want (168), it's just a matter of putting in the time to really hone in on the skills and methods to taking the test. My plan is to study my butt off until I take it again, I was really disappointed with how much prep I was able to do before this last one, but I already have all of the PowerScore and LSAC books so I'm ready to go. So suggestions on when I should take it again?

I had a hard time to solve this question and couldn't find the exact flaw.
I was confused between B and C and ultimately chose C, but the answer is D.
I have no idea why D is right and others are wrong.
Can anyone explain me this question?
Thanks!
