For this one I picked E but is it because that its more of background information as opposed to a premise which the answer A is?

Hello everyone,

If you’re waiting to hear back from other schools, how do you go about seat deposits?

I know I can’t rush a school’s decision, so would I just put a seat deposit down until I hear back from the other schools?

Taking the August test. Last week I was finishing up the modules and I was flying through them and I felt like I could understand the test like Neo at the end of the Matrix. Then starting this week I have tried to study and I feel like all of that is out the window. In some aspects its like last week never happened and I feel like I'm back to square one. I was told I might be burned out but I don't feel like that at all, I felt really good but then it disappeared. Help me get that feeling back cause it will take me to the promised land!

I have a diagramming problem. I can fly through a complex question stem without diagraming, particularly on parallel reasoning and other LR questions but some harder former questions require diagramming and I can diagram for the live of me. Any tips on the cc?

I'm not sure if I understand the AC right regarding the video lesson, Harrold Foods Hero - Flaw Question (https://classic.7sage.com/lesson/harrold-foods-hero-flaw-question/).

Can anyone #help me understand and identify all the referential inferences in (D)?

(D) taking evidence (1) that a claim (2) is believed to be true to constitute evidence (3) that the claim (4) is in fact true.

evidence (1): ____________.

a claim (2): ____________.

evidence (3): ____________.

the claim (4): ____________.

Here is what I understand:

(D) taking evidence (Belief of most (72%) of consumers) that a claim (Harold foods dominates the market) is believed to be true to constitute evidence (product with more than 50 percent of sales in a market is dominating it) that the claim (Harold foods dominates the market) is in fact true.

evidence (1): Belief of most (72%) of consumers

a claim (2): Harold foods dominates the market

evidence (3): product with more than 50 percent of sales in a market is dominating it

the claim (4): Harold foods dominates the market

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I want to try using tougher non-lsat passages to create questions. Each member will be assigned a question type to create with the same passage. Only message if you are serious and willing to commit, as this will require a group chat and a virtual meet-up to discuss approaches. If you can't turn your camera on to engage, and can't commit to meeting times, don't message. Personally I average -5 and this group will be more effective if the average gaps are very wide. From explaining answer choices to approaches, and sharing different way to tackle question stems, diverse averages will actually work best. Planning to sit for June but will reconsider if I'm not ready

When I first look at an LR question and try to map it out with conditional logic, I get the answer wrong often and in the video explanation, JY maps it out completely different than I envisioned. Sometimes, I map out elements that are irrelevant to the argument or I'm creating too complex maps that aren't easily boiled down.

What do I need to review so I can get a better understanding?

I had a quick question about a line of reasoning regarding the correct answer to this question. I got the correct answer, E, but for a different reason than what was explained in the explanation video. In the video, the narrator discusses the difference between old people and old people with insomnia and claims that this is where the sample is unrepresentative. However, when I was thinking about this question, I was focused on the phrase "as they age" and the fact that the sample size was those aged 65-81. I thought that it was too difficult to determine that melatonin was produced less as you age because what if it is produced at a lower rate during early years as well, but the sample only included older people? Would this line of reasoning be incorrect? Is this a type of thinking anyone else had?

The reason why the restorers want to make an exception for De Volterra is that De Volterra removed ALL layers of paint in the sections of the paintings where he made his addition before he made these additional. This suggests: De Volterra removed not only those layers of paint that people other than Michelangelo had added but also parts of Michelangelo's works themselves. This in turn means: If De Volterra's additions were removed as well, Michelangelo's underlying painting would not be revealed. Instead, there would just be a blank piece of wall, as De Volterra already removed those sections of Michelangelo's work that were there originally.

Making an exception for De Volterra thus arguably makes sense, because even an addition made by a painter other than Michelangelo would seem better than just have a blank piece of wall in the middle of Michelangelo's painting.

Hello everyone!

My name is Ken. My friends and I host an LSAT study meeting at Gangnam every Sunday. We do not charge to attend this meeting but ask that each participant only pays for his or her usage of the meeting room at the study cafe. If anyone else wants to join, please read the conditions below and send me a message to my inbox! (:

  • This LSAT study meeting takes place from 2:00 pm-5:00 pm every Sunday at the Gangnam station Exit 9 Wing Study Cafe.

  • We do not make a profit hosting this LSAT study meeting other than asking each constituent to pay for his or her usage of the meeting room at the study cafe. The fee for using this meeting room is 6,000 KRW per person (1,900 KRW per hour for each person x 3 hours = 5,700 KRW rounded up to 6,000 KRW). This fee must be paid for in advance as soon as the constituent confirms in writing that he or she will attend the upcoming study meeting. The cause for paying the fee in advance as soon as possible is because we have to reserve the meeting room at the study cafe according to the number of constituents attending the meeting.
  • The refund will be issued only if the cancellation is made 48 hours prior to the start time of the study meeting. For example, a constituent has to cancel at latest by 2:00 pm on Friday to receive the refund.
