I feel like there's something wrong. I finished 7sage's LR curriculum, drilled, took practice tests, and I never scored higher than my diagnostic. In fact, I only scored between 157 and 162 on my practice tests preceding the official test. To be fair, I introduced BR very late to my study process. But I feel like it's odd that I didn't at least stumble into a higher score based on rote practice and familiarity.

Does anyone have thoughts about how to proceed for the October exam? Should I hunker down, focusing on PTs and blind review? Should I consider a different program? A private tutor? Stop studying and hope my intuition marinates over that time (JK)?

looking for some advice. in the past month and a half, i've scored 180, 180, 179, 173, 175, 171, 171. I feel like I've been studying just as hard and focusing on my weaknesses in the same way that brought me to those high initial scores. I'm not sure what I'm doing differently to account for the drop. I haven't been particularly stressed or overwhelmed, and nothing major has changed in my lifestyle. Maybe the PTs in the late 130s were just easier for me than the ones I'm taking in the 140s?

Has anyone experienced something similar, and do you have any advice? My test is in a month and I'd like to reach my full potential again.

I honestly didn't see the flaw when I first did this question and am wondering how people who did see the issue manage to go about solving these questions.

Are these two questions basically twins? Or are they different? If they are different, how are they different? I honestly got them mixed up and got both incorrect and I think a large part of it was because of my pre-phase. My pre-phase going in was just all because you have an imperfect correlation doesn't mean there is NO causal relationship. For the question in PT 62, I narrowed it down to A and B and was unable to tell the two answers apart.

Was wondering about the extent to which essays forming part of one's application have to be re-done in respect of re-applications. I did engage a consultant last time around and submitted my applications with a full suite of school-specific/optional essays, and would prefer to minimize the amount of re-work I have to do, this cycle. I am given to understand that: (a) applications of re-applicants are attached with their prior applications while being reviewed by admissions committees; and (b) it is advisable to re-write at least one's personal statement. Would love to hear your thoughts on this.

I'm hoping to apply with an LSAT score in the early to mid 170s to the T-14. I'm taking the January LSAT. Depending on how it goes, I might consider deferring to the next admissions cycle (though I'm strongly averse to doing that for a variety of reasons). If I do score above the 75th percentile of the schools to which I apply, would it be worth applying this cycle, with rewritten essays (to the extent required)?

Intuitively I chose E, but then crossed it out because the passage did not specifically state what is "good journalistic practice".

Chose B but then understood why it was wrong- I made an assumption about "interesting".

I have a coursework requirement I have to fulfill. I can take inductive and/or deductive reasoning. Would either or both help me with the LSAT?

The last couple sentences of the passage say that there are a couple constraints to the method, but then the MP question says nothing about the constraints only about how the method is good? Im confused.

Hey guys! I'm looking to locate a specific RC passage and really don't have much to go on - guess I'm hoping someone else will be able to recognize it lol.

I believe it was in the 60s or 70s and it was written like a journal or about someones journal or something, I think it was about a Chinese author? Anyways that's very limited information, the reason I'm looking for this passage is because it was ABSTRACT AF. Like there was BARELY any structure and it was notorious for this.

Hi, for those you who have scored 170 and over on the LSAT, do you recommend doing untimed drills instead of timed drills when you’re in the core curriculum? I just started learning about logic in the curriculum, but I would do timed drills with the time and a half accommodations and get 2-3 questions wrong. Though I would get more correct once I did blind review, and I did that for every set, and wrote down why I got each question wrong and why the right answer was correct. I would appreciate any help!

Hi I have a question...there's a school that I am applying to that says I must include any violation of the law EXCEPT those that were expunged and there's another school that says include any violation including those that were expunged.

In 2016 I got a citation for possession of alcohol that was expunged.

If I include an addendum for one school, but not the other, how will this affect me in the long run with the bar and in general with applications? Should I include it with all of my schools? I plan to practice in PA or NJ if possible.

Hey y'all! I am 3 weeks into my LSAT study prep and I'm wondering whether the study schedule or syllabus option is best. I have just been going though the syllabus every day and while its working, I don't know if I should be focusing more on how the study schedule sets up the material. Is it fine to just go through the syllabus or should I abide by the study schedule they generate? I am planning to take the test in 3-6 months.

Anyone have a comprehensive list which they use to review/drill which question type is an argument we must look for vs not an argument...etc

Hi! I am just starting on the Intro to Logic section of the Core Curriculum. I am trying to finish the curriculum before school starts on Aug 23. Please lmk if you want to be study partners and approach some practice sets/blind review them together.

UNC is my dream! though, my GPA is somewhat mid i think, sittin pretty at 3.64 and i take the LSAT next weekend. i've been scoring in the low 160s, so i'm anticipating somewhere around there (if i end up with below a 160, i'm retaking- also yes i know i'm likely to do worse on the real deal but i'm being optimistic hehe). if anyone is super familiar with UNC or their admissions office, is it possible for me to get accepted? rather, is it likely? also important to note that i believe my personal statement will be quite strong, as i have quite a bit of writing experience (if that would make much of a difference). thanks!

I had drafted my essays for Yale in 11pt font prior to reading that they require 12pt. Anyone have a perspective on how much wiggle room their "approximately" language provides? Feel free to comment or just respond to the poll below.

Example directions are: "The optional essay should be approximately one double-spaced page, formatted in a professional 12-point font,"
