Hello everyone,

I am currently looking for a study partner, I am going through the core curriculum again to gain a more thorough understanding of the sections and concepts. If you are a person that has been scoring high on practice tests and have mastered the concepts behind the questions, and would not mind helping me, please send me a message. Thank you!

Hello,

Myself and elle.sat.woods180

Are looking to add two members to our study group.

Our goal is to reach +170 scores for the 2021-2022 academic year.

The highest score I have received on the LSAT was a 167. I have scored 165 multiple times and my most recent LSAT scores have been varied from 160 to 167. I have taken approximately 80 LSAT Preptests. I only have 10 more. I took these tests in numerical order but also decided to take LSAT 89 and 88 because of their difficulty in order to prepare myself for the November/January LSAT. It did not work.

Our method of study is to pick LR/LG/RC questions/passages and blind review them. We general pick questions and passages based on their difficulty.

We are both on the East Coast but are willing to be flexible for those who are not.

Send me a direct message if you are interested in joining our group.

Thanks,

Why C is the the right choice?

Context: Some researchers claim that people tend to gesture less when they articulate what would typically be regarded as abstract rather than physical concepts.

Premise: Because some people perceived words like xxx, as XXX....

Conclusion: To point out that such a correlation is far from universal is insufficient reason to reject the researcher's claim.

where is the reconciliation?

Hi, I am currently prepping for the LSAT from abroad. Is there anyone in Europe that would like to set up a study group ? Timezones make it difficult to set up zoom calls with the US. I am taking the 2021 october LSAT and currently scoring in the 150 range. Weekly zoom calls every Monday at 7pm GMT +2. If you are interested please comment below.

I've been awarded the scholarship (all three years) for a local school, which is great! However, I am still waiting on the rest of my applications which are pending. Am I required to answer the email? I think if I did answer, it would be a lame "this is great news, but I don't know if I will be attending your school" response. Also, I am concerned that if I don't answer somehow the offer will be off the table in a month's time (yet, the deposit is due in April, FAFSA February), but I think this is just anxiety talking more than anything. Anyone care to enlighten me, please?

Thank you, all! I was able to achieve my goal score thanks to the content here and this awesome community, so keep working if you are still in the LSAT process! Best of luck.

Hello! Would anyone like to form a study group to keep each other accountable? I am free most of the day and would like to start studying between 9 and 10 am EST time. Am open to Skype, Zoom, text, calls, facetime etc. I am in the eastern time zone.

Hi all, I took the November LSAT and scored a 161. I'd like to score a 165+ in January. I've PT'ed 168, 169 before so I know it's possible, I'm just not consistent. I am strong in LG and very weak in LR (and to an extent RC). If there's anybody out there weak in LG and strong in LR and RC that would like to study together for January, please let me know. We can help each other out. I'm really serious about getting my score up.

I have been studying for the LSAT for over a year now and August will be the last time I take it. My $99 Law Hub membership expires in 5 days (It is very annoying that LSAC started making people pay for this last year). Given that I will only be needing to use LSAT material for at most 3 more weeks, I cannot afford to pay another $99 just to stop using 7sage and Law Hub after the August test.

Does anyone have any ideas on if there is any way to only pay a fraction of the $99? I never applied for fee waivers, so I would not be able to get one for the subscription. Any advice is much appreciated!

Hello hello,

I was hoping I could find some generous hearts to tutor me for free? I've noticed some posts on the forum and I thought to give it a shot and ask! I'd love to hear from you.

If you are interested I would be more than happy to give more info about me.

Talk soon!

Hi, so in the past two PT's, I've scored 173 and 174 respectively (175 and 179 BR respectively as well). I am wondering what people in this range do to maintain and improve from this point on. Do you continue with drilling sections and reviewing wrong answers? I find that I am spending less time than I used to on studying, and I am wondering if that's a natural result of getting more correct and understanding the test better. Would love any advice from 7Sagers who have been in this situation. Thank you!

I just got an email after taking the FLEX on Nov. 11th saying my writing sample was cancelled because my government I.D. was not clear enough and now I have to take the sample again. Is there any way to contest this so that I do not have to wait extra time to view my score. I wanted to apply to schools if my score was within my desired range and if it was not then I would study and take the January test, but if this processing takes additional time it sort of screws me over. Thanks everyone!

Say I retake the LSAT writing for November flex, with an approved writing sample already on file from a previous exam -- if, by the time November flex scores are released, submission for the retaken LSAT writing is still pending, could that affect my score release?

I'm told that as long as I have an approved writing sample from the past year I will be able to view subsequent scores without delay, but I was wondering if having a pending writing sample in addition to an approved writing sample could potentially impede that process.

Thank you!

Hi, I'm having an issue and was wondering if anyone else had the same/similar problem in the past and how they've dealt with it. LSAC has given me the run around and won't "formalize, or whatever" my CAS profile until the issue is resolved, so my profile is incomplete. So if you have any ideas please let me know.

Here's the situation:

LSAC has received all my official transcripts

Transcript from school A says I took class X at school C

Transcript from school B says I took class X at school B

I never attended school C

I did attend school B and took class X at school B

LSAC sees that the transcript from school A says I took class X at school C and labels school C as a school I've attended and failed to acknowledge

I tell LSAC I did not attend school C

LSAC told me that if I did not take class X at school C, then I need to have school A edit their transcript to show this fact and then I need to have them resubmit the corrected transcript to LSAC

School A is no longer a school

School A transformed into school D

School D is the custodian of school A's transcripts

School D cannot edit school A's transcripts

School C has written a "letter of non-attendance" on my behalf and I have forwarded that to LSAC

I've spoken with both people at LSAC proper and CAS, and supposedly last year when I was trying to remedy this problem, the letter of non attendance would be enough to remedy the situation (and this was after a big time sink of call after call after email). Now, I'm getting conflicting input on how to fix the situation from them, and also now they are telling me that the letter of non attendance needs to be sent directly from school C to them via snail mail and that the previously forwarded email from school C containing a scanned document with the signature of their registrar is not enough. Basically, the goal posts keep moving and I have no idea what to do from here.

Problem persists without resolution and the fixes to the problem that LSAC are giving me are literally impossible.

This coming fall, I am going to be applying to law schools. I have recently written my personal statement, and I am ready to begin writing "Why X?" essays and supplemental essays. I have heard it is important to get in contact with alumni, professors, or current students of certain schools to include that you have spoken to them in those supplemental essays. Does anyone have advice on how to reach out to people to get information? Thanks.

Hello All!

I've been working on my statements for the next cycle (2021-2022). I think I have a decent 2-page rough draft for a PS, but I would love to get feedback on it. I'm not that concerned about my grammar/spelling. Rather, I want to make sure that the tone and content are persuasive.

Of course, I'm totally willing to read your PS statement in return!

So if you're interested, just PM me with your email and I'll send it over (and send your PS too if you want me to look at it).

In case it matters, my stats are 3.9X and 17low.

I am wondering if I should write an addendum for my score going from a 148 (Nov 2019) to a 159 (Nov 2020)? I'm not sure.

Also, I changed my major to Graphic Design for a year in college because I wasn't sure about being a lawyer. Should I write about that as well?

How long should each addendum be?

Thanks!

I have been a little all over the board with LR questions, averaging anywhere from -2 to -5. It's my worst section and no matter how much I review past questions I continue to make mistakes. Some seem to be due to timing because on BR I can usually find about half of my mistakes. I think my brain just goes cloudy. Any advice for LR refining in the last few weeks before LSAT/how to get over the slump? Feeling unmotivated #help

I was wondering if anyone has a list of econ and geology passages. I have a hard time parsing through these types of passages and I want to love reading them. If they have a high amount of infer/analogy questions that would be a great bonus too.

Thanks!

Edit: Jazz/blues also

I am taking the June 2023 LSAT in-person and wanted to confirm the following questions:

Am I allowed to bring 5 pieces of scratch paper to use during the exam?

Am I permitted to bring my own writing utensils, and are there any requirements/specifications that I should note about them?

Thank you!!!
