I've been doing well on my PTs (in the 170+ range), but every time, i do sooo badly on the experimental section. I'm talking -6 to -9 questions wrong. Should i be concerned?? I dont even get how it's possible for me to go from -1 on one LR section to -8 on the next.
Does anyone know where we can find specific LSAT questions that we starred? I have been looking but could not find them. I appreciate any and all help! :)
Does anyone have a good WAJ template/spreadsheet that they feel like sharing?
Hello. I just enrolled in 7Sage because I am having trouble breaking into the 170s. I usually score in the 160s-165s. I usually miss around 6 questions per LR section and 6 per RC section. I have an extremely good understanding of question types, conditional statements, common logical fallacies, etc and don't feel like I need to waste my time with understanding the basics again (I was enrolled in another prep course before this, which is where I learned all of it). However, I seem to get fairly easily tripped up over level 4-5 difficulty questions. How would one recommend studying with 7Sage for someone in my boat? Should I just do drilling exclusively with those difficult questions? Does someone have another approach that helped them break into the 170s that they wouldn't mind sharing? I take my exam for the third time in January of 2025. A recommendation of how I should approach studying for RC sections is also appreciated. Motivation is high but my confidence in breaking into the 170s is diminishing, unfortunately.
!!LONG POST INCOMING!! But I'm pretty lost right now.
I've hit a plateau in my studying where I always get at around 5-6 questions wrong per section because and it's usually just the hardest questions give or take maybe 2 misreads for simpler ones. I know exactly how to each question should be done and answered and I think my biggest issue is that for those hard questions I simply just don't really understand the stimulus and even if I do, the right answer choice sometimes escapes me due to a technicality in wording.
I do run into a bit of an issue with certain question types for sure like weaken or MBT questions. The issue here is that even if I know how to do them and I can get the question right it just simply takes me to long to deduce the right answer. I've been basically trying to drill these question types more often using the filter and also doing more timed practices.
At the same time, I think I also struggle just simply completing the logical reasoning section. I'll range anywhere from 1-5 questions that I simply run out of time for. I try my best to be quick but even at my best I'm left with 2 questions undone. I've seen that some people have time left over to go over previous questions, a speed that seems completely unreachable to me at the moment.
So I guess there are three issues I'm running into and three questions I'm hoping some of you can give me advice on:
I've heard a lot of "just do more questions" and I definitely am but I was wondering if anyone was doing anything specific in terms of drilling or even stuff outside of the LSAT (reading more books/news articles) that you find has helped with your score.
I started doing this course this week. I just completed doing the blind review by going through the diagnostic test for June 2007. I am not sure that I did the blind review correctly as I went down two points post blind review.
My process of completing the blind review was watching the videos twice each, making notes and following through. I completed step one by going through the circled and seeing if I need to change or not and did that for all four sections. I originally was going through the whole test again and searched through the forums to see if I was doing it right. I then just went through the rest of the test just going through the circled questions. I am uncertain if my process just wasted time. I did the explanations in my head and now I wonder if I should start doing the actual foundations course or go through the other steps of the analysis before moving on to doing arguments on the course. Did I take the diagnostic to early or should I just continue with what I am currently doing by going through that prep test and sitting down and analyzing my choices and answers with all the questions. Can I change the prep test to printed test without any issues so I can analyze each question. Should I rework my process? Need advise on what to do!
It shows this on the Blind Review under action:
If you have trouble understanding the trap, then you should:
Is this what I do post blind review since I scored it. Do I end up keeping the questions and reviewing it?
Looking to create study session in Indianapolis Area or surrounding Counties students looking to take the LSAT in 2025. Meeting are in public places have alot of materials to assist us in our LSAT PREP!!
I've noticed in my drills (specifically for LR) I will choose the right answer in under a minute for logical reasoning, but then I will sit on it for AT LEAST another 30 seconds to a minute and waste time confirming it is actually right. How do I get out of this spiral? How were you able to trust your "gut"/ our lessons.
Thanks!
Hello everyone,
I am looking for a study buddy or group to prepare for the LSAT. Honestly, self-studying has been a task for me and I haven't taken the LSAT in almost 10 years. Would anyone be willing to join me as we navigate through this journey?
Are you planning to apply to law school this year? We’re offering a FREE in-person admissions events in DC.
Washington, D.C. - Saturday, November 16th - 12:00 to 4:00 PM ET
Tajira McCoy, former head of admissions at Berkeley, will be joined by the head of admissions at Howard, Tracy Simmons, for a law school applications event in DC! The two admissions experts will give a presentation on how to successfully prepare your applications followed by some time for Q&A and one-on-one help. We will be requiring a $50 deposit refunded upon attendance to secure a spot. Make your deposit here.
Disclaimer - I have not taken the LSAT yet so please correct me if I’m mistaken in believing it is only offered in a digital format barring some accommodation.
How are we supposed to parse out grammar when the exams are on a screen? I’ve read only text size and line spacing can be adjusted. Are we expected to mentally draw and remember 7 sets of parenthesis and arrows? Drawing on top of the questions and answer choices is extremely helpful for me.
Please let me know about your experiences and if we are able to draw and mark up questions like in the lesson videos. Thanks!

Hello,
I really like the platform overall, but wish I could save answer choices in folders. There's some questions I wish to come back to or want to save for specific reasons, but I only have the option of pinning them.
I would really like a way to save questions in a more specific way so I could have a folder for myself with titles like "need to re-review" or "hardest conditional reasoning."
I mark questions in a book by hand that I would like to revisit but its really annoying to keep track of it this way, and once I do return to them its annoying to find them in the system using the drilling platform.

I have a discord link I'm going to post, just need more people who will sit down and just help keep each other accountable.
Hi Everyone,
I'm feeling down. On lawhub ive been averaging 154-156 on my PTS. I decided to start doing PTs on 7sage so i can track my analytics. The past 3 times ive taken a PT on 7sage , the highest score i got was 149. I'm so confused. I dont know if im regressing or if it is just the layout/format of the platform. Has anyone else had a similar problem?
TIA!
This is my first time of taking LSAT. I chose to take the test at a test centre, but right now I can't find a test location in Canada on the Prometric website. Could anyone explain the reason?
Hello!
Can anyone help explain this question from the grammar section on comparatives?
"At least 59 percent of households maintained a lower indoor temperature than they had been accustomed to maintain on very cold days"
With the new LSAT changes, which PTs are being used for question drills, and which ones are completely clean for full PTs?
I've seen that 7sage recommends taking old PTs first, but I've already done a lot of drills that uses questions from all the old PTs. Should I still do a full PT for tests I know a few answers to?
I am in a strange situation. I have a decent GPA and LSAT score, but I am only applying to in-state schools, all which happen to be pretty competitive. So, my GPA is a 3.77 and my LSAT is a 156. Here are the stats for the school I am applying to:
Median GPA 3.87 (25th and 75th percentile between 3.70 and 3.95) And Median LSAT 165 (25th and 75th percentile between 161 and 167)
I applied last year with roughly the same scores, slightly lower GPA and an LSAT of 155, and I was waitlisted and eventually not admitted. I had a really strong personal statement and resume, which I think helped compensate for my scores. Anyways, reapplying this year with my 156 (which came out today, super bummer on this.)
Anyways, all to say, should I write an addendum for my 156? I think my reasoning would just be lack of resources to low-income students and within my specific university. For some background, I aged out of foster care and have been funding my legal journey on my own. I also own my own home (I am 23 years old), which is super expensive and the reason I cannot devote more money to LSAT resources or applying to out of state schools.
What now? Addendum? Not apply this year at all and start studying for next year? Desperately in need of advice. Thank you all! And I hope the best for all of you in your legal journeys!
Hi there,
I completed PTA RC, which doesn't have video or written explanations for the answers. Despite getting the answer correct, there was a major time sink on my end for the first question of the first passage. I want to reaffirm my thinking for the right / wrong ACs. Could anyone who has taken this PT confirm or revise my understanding?
Q1
AC A: Clandestine marriages is not at all supported by Donahue's position, lines 46-48 state that "so long as they acted in accordance with established bann procedures, a couple could marry without parental consent and still enjoy the blessing of the Church." Bann compliance is not considered clandestine. I had no trouble finding support against this.
HOWEVER, I struggled with whether the first part of this AC (concerning synthesis) is descriptively accurate and broad enough to be the MP. Is it accurate to say that "the doctrine of marriage by Pope Alexander III represented a synthesis of traditional ecclesiastical dnd legal opinion"? Would this sentence be accurate and potentially good enough for a revised MP or am I misunderstanding the passage?
AC B: More support for this is provided by the passage; no issues. (Based on mutual consent is supported by paragraph 1. Encouraged marriages based on love is supported in paragraph 2.)
Any help understanding this passage and question is appreciated! Happy studying!
Hi everyone, I've recently drilled timed sections from the earlier PTs (1-15) and have seen my LR section score improve from about -4/-5 (later PTs) to -2/-3 (earlier PTs) and my RC score improve from -4 (later PTs) to -2 (earlier PTs) in the past two weeks. I've also noticed that I'm able to breeze through the questions faster with time to spare and more confidence at the end of the section. Is this most likely a reflection of an actual skill improvement, or are the earlier PTs easier? There seems to be varying information and opinions about the weight that should be given to earlier PTs.
It's also very likely that I am reading too much into the minor variance from the earlier PTs to current PTs, but I'm a bit nervous to see the results of a new, more recent PT.
Thank you in advance!

Hi! I am taking the LSAT in November and want to find someone to hop on a call of some sort to run through some of the more difficult LR questions because that is where I need the most improvement. I also want to find someone who is still in the process of applying to law school who can help make me be less stressed about getting everything right lol. I am in the eastern time zone and live in Lexington, KY. My availability is PM and Saturdays since I work full time currently. DM me if you're interested!
Is anyone else not being let into the zoom for the in-person proctor PT today? I’ve been here since 12:50.
