Hey all! Just out of curiosity, where is everyone planning to apply and why? My top choice is University of South Carolina since I want to live there and the law school facilities themselves and faculty are amazing. But I went undergrad at University of Kentucky so I will be applying there too, as well as FSU since I am a Florida native and want to keep my options open. If anyone was looking at going to UK and has questions about the school or Lexington in general, or if you're like me and want to go to USC, feel free to reach out and DM me!

Conditional and Set logic Practice

Is there a conditional and set logic drill so that I could apply the things that I am still learning. I went through the groups and I want to hone in my skills rather than just do 5 questions and be done with it. I have not taken any prep tests as I am saving it for the end of the course. I am currently working from the chains until the rest of the course section. Is there a place to practice these skills without affecting my progress on the actual questions on prep tests.

Is the best way to learn the indicators through anki or quizlet?

I'm an idiot. I registered for the LSAT prior to the deadline for November. It asked for a photo and I just uploaded a selfie from a while ago because it was perfect - plain photo background, no shadows, etc. I began to read the requirements and I think I'm screwed. For starters, I lost about 25 pounds since then. Secondly, I shaved my beard about 3 weeks ago so it's not as full. Genuinely worried that my test is not even going to happen because I was being stupid and wasn't thinking carefully. The anxiety is officially through the roof. Not sure what to do.

Hey guys, I've just about finished going through the LSAT Trainer (2024 edition), and I was wondering what everyone's thoughts here have been regarding supplementary resources for 7sage in general. When I initially began my LSAT prep, I tried proceeding strictly with 7sage but I found myself getting a little all over the place. I think the LSAT Trainer was a decent starting point for structuring my LSAT self-study and prep; I think I'm going to be able to utilize 7sage a lot more efficiently moving forward. That said, I still wouldn't be surprised if anyone thinks there are better supplementary resources out there. What do you guys think?

For those who have consistently achieved anything from -0 to -3 on RC, do you have any tips on approaching the most difficult questions of a section/passage under time constraints? On questions, I'll set a certain amount of time (e.g. 45 seconds) per question. On extremely tricky questions where I debate between 2 answers, I'll flag the question and move on if I run out of time. Typically, I'll be hyper attentive and look for a specific word that might help me eliminate an answer choice, but this doesn't always work (shoutout PT45 S2 P2 Q10 ugh). I'm currently averaging anything from -5 to -10 (a large range ik).

Is there anything specific you do while reading the passage that helps with the most difficult questions? Do you look back at the passage? Purely rely on memory and low-res? Does anything change in your approach when you're answering the last passage of a section, knowing that the questions will likely be more difficult?

Advice appreciated! Thanks!

Looking for anyone that would be interested in having a virtual study group session on weekends. Having trouble focusing on studying on weekends and would really benefit from having a scheduled time to study with people virtually. Also would enjoy talking through difficult questions, study strategies, etc. Preference for those in PST but open to CT/ET as well. Currently scoring around 166.

Hi all,

My name is Athena and I am seeking a study buddy, I'm planning to take the June LSAT , however based on my progress I might reschedule for an earlier test date. Preferably someone who is a sherpa or who knows about this.

Hi,

I'm really not sure what to do about this but I had some disciplinary hearings at my university because of Palestine organizing on campus. I was let off with warnings for both hearings and both times they were really unfair hearings but I'm not sure if I should explain that it was unfair. Should I be detailed about this on my application because I feel it may show dissent against school admin? If anyone has insight or experience please let me.

I'm wrapping up my Master's degree and I have some extra space in my schedule next semester. I've been planning to take an easy, intro-level course in a subject outside of my degree to get myself to the full-time hour requirement, but I'm not sure how that will look to law schools. Do y'all think they'll view it as me slacking in my last semester? Should I add another graduate level course instead?
