Hi everyone,

I took my November '23 lsat, and the Prometric program didn't work properly. I was logged out 8 times during the test and had to go through the whole check-in process over and over again. The time was stopped, but I am not sure if they counted all my answers. My LSAT score was really low, but I thought I did better because it seemed easier than the ones I had done before. Is there anyone who had an issue during their proctored exam? Also, is it worth doing a score audit or just retaking the exam in January? Thanks in advance.

Can someone tell me what PT the following LG is?

Hi all! In need of some advice for canceling or keeping my score for November's test. I scored a 146 and now I am thinking of taking April's test instead of January to see significant improvement (which means I will probably not apply this cycle like I intended). Two questions (1) is it worth it to cancel - I believe I was not as prepared as I should have been coming in to the test and (2) Is it best to give myself more time to prepare for a better score or should I try again for January in hopes of scoring better and applying this cycle (168+)?

hi, guys!

if possible, i'm looking for some advice - thank you so much in advance :) i have taken the LSAT four times and canceled one of my scores last october due to extenuating circumstances.

my fourth score, the nov. 2023 LSAT, is much lower (:/) than my highest score and i'm worried would put me in a disadvantageous position considering that i'm applying this application cycle, which i was planning to in the next couple of days but hadn't expected this. considering that i already have one score cancellation on my record, do you think that also cancelling my nov. 2023 LSAT score would be harmful to my application?

any and all thoughts are appreciated!!!

Most Common First Game

I hoping to get my first two games down to a relatively speedy pace so I have time on the second two. What tags/difficulty should I be drilling that are representative of the first two games?

Well with the Nov test scores out, I finally have my stats and am ready to start applying.

2.47 CAS GPA

168 LSAT

7+ years WE with upward mobility

T3 softs

Pretty decent professional LOR

I don’t have any real geographic constraints (though my local regional school is my target.) Looking for splitter friendly schools and those likely to give scholarships to someone with my background. Thanks for any help!

Re-posting this in a more organized manner so everything is in one place. Here is some context.

Last attempt for this cycle.

150 -> 155 -> 159.

I need a 161 at least to be at the median for my dream school. 2 more points.

Of course most of us feel less pressure / whole different dynamic practice test vs. real thing, but I was scoring 163 - 167 for the last 10 tests I took prior to the October LSAT. Not sure if my brain freezes or what. My average was 164 so I was expecting a 160 at least.

Please help, how can I get these two extra points? What would you do in my shoes?I guess Im asking if i retake all the ones i took and start from scratch 7sage? or focus more on review? obviously with the performance anxiety of it being real doesnt help me but instead is a deterrent, i need this to feel as "fake" and relaxed and possible. what do i do study method wise? Im willing to put in the work next month but dont know what to do study method wise.

Any help or insight would be much appreciated. thank you in advance

I am having some self doubt and would love to hear thoughts!

I have been studying for the LSAT since late September now, and have improved my score from a 152 -> 162 so far. I am hoping that if I keep up my pace I can get to a 168, but truly a 162 isn't bad either.

I am having doubt about if I timed taking the LSAT incorrectly. It's my first go-round, with little guidance on applications and I'm not applying to a t-15 school. Is January LSAT going to be too late to send in my scores with my apps? Should I wait to apply until after my LSAT? It will be the first I have taken.

I really want to apply this cycle, I am just now facing that doubt that I'm sure many do as the time creeps closer and you're doing something that no one near you has done.

Any advice? Tips? Relatability?

Thank you

Hello!

I wanted to ask about topics for my diversity statement to see if I could get some insight. I graduated with a BS in forensic biology and I thought it would be really interesting to write an essay about my education and how it adds a diverse perspective. Do you guys think this is appropriate? One of my mentors has suggested that I also talk about my diverse personal background as an Indian in the essay but I'm not sure if these two topics go together. Thanks!

New subscriber here- Just took the PT 1 as a cold(ish) diagnostic after completing 7Sages Foundations section over the weekend and no prior study. I have yet to begin the core curriculum’s overview of the 3 individual sections.

Scored a 153 timed. RC-LG-LR. Completed RC but no time for a second round of review. Solved the first two LG’s, but struggled on the third. I was not able to get to the fourth LG and was pretty fatigued by the third section, wound up with quite a few answers blank in LR. Scores hovered around -10 in each section.

I decided not to blind review since I haven’t gone through the core curriculum yet and didn’t want to spend an inordinate amount of time without some foundational principles for how to tackle the games/LR, but overall feeling pretty good for a cold(ish) score!

So I took the LSAT in October of this year and I got a 155. I was scoring between a 156-161 during practice tests. I had a total freakout before the test and after it LOL.

I'm not upset with my 155, I just know I can score better than that and I wanna take the test for a third and final time in January, I'm just worried if that's too late. The earliest deadline I have for the law schools I want to apply to is March 1st.

Do you guys think I should just apply now with a 155 or try again in January for a higher score and tell law schools to wait for my January score?

Hey there! Looking to meet virtually with a group (1x a week minimum) and review concepts/help eachother with PT/PQ's. Comment below if interested! I am a rising junior and I plan on taking the April 2024 LSAT, applying in 2024 for the 2025 cycle.

I plan to retake the LSAT in January and am wondering how hard it is to have accomodations approved and if law schools will see if I had them?

For those of you who've experienced this already, what materials did you need to provide to the LSAC? I had accomodations in college, would that make it more likely for me to have them approved for the LSAT?

Hello. I would like to request that you transfer your lessons about Blind Review from v1 to v2. In the v2 curriculum, it appears to be assumed that everyone knows what Blind Review is and how it is practiced. Although we can just switch to v1, other individuals who are new to the LSAT and 7Sage might not think to look back at v1 to learn about Blind Review.

Thanks

Bravo 7sage

The last thing i ever expected is for a LSAT prep course to transcend the LSAT, but everything about 7sage's live classes, from curriculum to teachers, has been a testament to how freakin fulfilling high quality learning can be. While the LSAT score is the destination, I have thoroughly enjoyed the journey.

I may have gone the optimistic route of going through this application cycle and am not only looking for advice but have some questions

. I was one of the few (probably) that submitted applications early in hopes that it would be easier for when I focus on my LSAT. So as it may, I’ve done all my applications between September and October. I’m practically stuck with what I have already submitted and am only waiting for my LSAT. Now that I am sitting here, I wish I had waited and done some more research/review before I decided to submit my applications. I do not believe my writing documents are bad, I have quite the confidence in them, but now i’m wondering how much better they could of been if I had a professional look at all my documents together to see what I am missing, what I could strengthen or completely omit.

I know my only options are to just email them some updated documents and hope they like what I’ve given them.

But I’m curious, is it possible to withdraw applications and resubmit in the same cycle? I do not think that’s possible, and even if it is. Does it look bad if you redo your application? Do they notice that you submitted one back in september, withdrew and then resubmitted a new one??

All advice would be helpful and if it’s just simply a silly idea, don’t be afraid to let me know. Law school won’t go away, so i know if it doesn’t work out this cycle, I have next year
