Hi all,

I have ADHD and my medication recently stopped working altogether for me (apparently its a thing that sometimes happens). I haven't been able to study in WEEKS because of my ADHD brain and I just pushed the April test to June to give myself more time, given this disruption. I need studying motivation. Please, if you have any advice, kind words, or a compelling story to tell that might inspire some motivation in me, share it if you feel comfortable. This is a rough time for me and I am just looking for some support.

If you're ready to get more practice taking a full LSAT Prep Test under simulated online proctor conditions, you're in the right place. The next Proctored PT will take place on Saturday February 17 at 1:00 PM.

Thanks to all who could come last week to the PT and BR sessions. On Monday, we reviewed PT75's deceptively fascinating LR stimuli: among them the Duke of Acredia, outfitting cattle with expensive GPS, and debating claims about a comet reservoir. On Tuesday's RC BR session, we dove deep into the comparative passage, two sides on whether liars and thieves deserve a taste of their own medicine. Fun! Hope to see you at the next ones.

Here's how our Proctored PTs work:

  • Register by clicking the blue ‘Register’ button on this page.
  • Once you sign up, you'll receive an email from Zoom with the link to join the meeting.

Select a PT that you want to take for the proctored test. This week's recommended PT is test 76; you're encouraged to attend the associated Blind Review sessions on Monday and Tuesday! (BR Series). You can take the PT through 7Sage, or- if you want to simulate real test-day conditions- you can log into LawHub and take it there.

Show up to the Zoom meeting 10 minutes before the scheduled start time (12:50 PM ET). You will all be prompted to complete a room scan (similar to the test-day security measures) at the same time and then put into a breakout room by yourself to complete the test.

Simulate the test! Our 7Sage Proctors will monitor the testing process for the duration of your test and even simulate a pesky interruption. The Proctor will ask if anyone would like to be interrupted at the beginning of the session, and you will have the chance to indicate your preference. If only the Prometric proctors would be so kind as to ask! If you have any approved accommodations, please let us know via private chat at the beginning of the session as well––you will be able to test with those.

If you have any questions, please email bailey.luber@7sage.com. We hope to see you there!

7 Sage #Admin, please provide some sort of guidance in the Learn dropdown that lets new users understand that they have an option between using V1 or V2 CC, along with V1 or V2 Study Schedule. Personally, I got over being annoyed that I started on V1 and after a month realized there's V2, which is more feasible for my schedule. After completing some of the updated lessons, I realized there's a whole different Study Schedule for V2 from a comment. This is rather frustrating and giving me a bad user experience.

I am planning to take the LSAT after August, so I would like to start practicing with Prep Tests that do not include logic games. I read somewhere that once you click on a prep test, there should be a drop-down menu to the right of the prep test number that allows you to select the version of the test you want to take. However, I'm encountering an issue as there is no drop-down menu when I click on a prep test. If anyone has faced a similar problem and has found a solution, your insight would be much appreciated.

    Hi there,

I know it is important to simulate real test day conditions, which means making sure I have the stamina to do 4 sections to simulate the experimental section. However, 7sage's August 2024 version only has the 3 actual sections. Is there a way 7sage recommends practicing the August format but including 4 sections? Should I just immediately take an extra RC or LR section from another pretest right after I finish the 3 section PT?

Also, is it recommended to do this for EVERY PT, or should I just throw in a 4 section every once in awhile?

    I posted a q on the thread for PT32 S3 G2 here https://classic.7sage.com/lsat_explanations/lsat-32-section-3-game-2/

    It asks

"Any one of the following could be true about the organizer's selection of works EXCEPT"

It's an in and out game. The answer choices give a partial list of what's in and are asking if the combination could be true. I'm confused because [I thought] when they ask what could be in, we're looking at a comprehensive list, rather than partial list--so it really threw me. I scavenged the comment section and no one else seemed to get tripped up so clearly this is me 😅

-Can someone explain how you knew the AC's were partial?

-Would you say this is a unique q or naw common get a grip

Reply here or directly on the question thread! tysm!

When to begin to 7sage (again)

Hey everyone, I have recently made the decision to retake the LSAT in the summer of 2025 (goal of 170+) because my current score (166 from Jan 21’) will be expiring by the time I plan to finally matriculate to law school in the fall of 2026.

Last go around, I began studying in October of 2020 with a diagnostic of 156, and reached a score of 166 by focusing HEAVILY on logic games. I did fine on LR and RC, but had a limited window to study (January was the cutoff for a program I was applying for at work). As a result, I really just skimmed the LR curriculum.

With Logic Games leaving the LSAT this year, I’m losing my greatest strength, but I’m also gaining the opportunity to improve a lot by taking the LR curriculum seriously.

How early is too early to begin 7sage again? I won’t make the mistake of limiting my study to 3 months again, but is 18 months too much?

    Answer Percents

Hey all, could somebody please explain this: once you see what you got right and wrong, there's also an indicator for what others chose and the percent who chose the correct answer. On every question I've done, even the hardest ranked ones, it's always 50-60%+ that are getting stuff right, often higher. Does this mean the majority is answering everything correctly? Kind of demotivating to see a '70% chose the correct answer' on every 5* question I struggled with...

    Help with Drilling Software

So I just bought the subscription to use the logic games drilling but im not sure how it works. I am using preptest 1-50 for drilling and preptests 51- for actual practice tests. I just want to know how to select only 1-50 for my drilling and have it pick random ones with no specific game type.

    LR not improving

I've been studying now for 10months and do not see much of the improvement.

Comparing to what it felt like 10 months ago when I first started to study, it was very difficult to understand the passages as well as the answer choices, and comprehending took so much time. I was always short in time by 5~10 minutes when I do the time section on LR(getting -7 ~ -14wrong).

Now, I feel more familiar with the LR passages, sometimes see the pattern and most of the time able to solve 1~2 star questions quickly and some of 4~5 star questions easy, and I am now able to finish timed section roughly in time.

But I don't see much of the apparent improvement and keep getting -8 and sometimes -12 if I was unable to focus and distracted. I will be very happy if I could get less than 3wrong consistently.

I am so devastated. Is this normal? Any advice will be very appreciated.

    Hello All,

I have taken the LSAT a number of times, and most of the time my score is unsatisfactory in comparison to what I had been PTing. Most recently, I scored a low 160 when I had been averaging 170+ the last 7 or so PTs previously. Any advice on what I could be doing wrong?

LG I have down to -0 and RC I know I can improve. I think most of the issue is LR, where I feel like the questions I PT are so much different (and easier) than the ones that show up on the real exam. I don't strictly recreate exam day conditions during PT, but maybe even less than ideal conditions (people walking around, visual/audio distractions, etc.) and yet I still do well on PTs and not on the official exam.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks y'all

Hello! Should I wait to submit my applications until all of my LOR’s are submitted? I’m still waiting on 2. Will the schools know that I have more coming if I submit my application now? Thanks in advance!

So I applied to a couple local law schools about a month ago and I just realized that I sent my old resume and not my new updated one. The only real change is where I currently work and everything else is relatively the same. I just wanted to be sure if this is ok or should I send it to them as an updated resume? Or should I wait until the decision and then send it to them as an updated resume? The thing is that I stopped working at my previous job in like August and began working at this new place in December. They're both law firm jobs. Someone please let me know how I should handle this? I know it's a minor mistake but still.

I am submitting a lot later than I wanted to. I got my LSAT score in September and my recommendations were in by November. I worked on my essays throughout the fall and was planning to submit mid-Jan at the end of winter break. But in December, an extremely close family member suddenly pass away and had to travel for 2 weeks for the funeral. I wasn't in a state to work on my apps for a few weeks after, and have just recently finished them. I have been planning for years to go to law school now and it is clear through my essays/resume that this has been my goal for a while (I'm KJD). I don't want admissions officers questioning my genuine interest in law school if they see that I'm applying so close to the Feb 15 deadline. Should I write an addendum about the extenuating circumstances that delayed my submission? #help

    Age

I’m graduating two years early from undergrad. I’m pretty much dead set going straight in law school with applications do admissions, take consideration? Will it lower my chances of getting because I’m 19? Never thought of this but stuff online is freaking me out. Stats are good and scores, only concern is my age lol

I'm having a really rough time with creating a study guide and how to even approach studying.

Can you recommend any study guide and studying tips that have worked for you? I'm willing to try different methods to see which one would be best for me.

For context, I am still in the application process. I have not yet received the desired LSAT score to apply to my first choice. However, I am confident that I would be accepted to a lower ranked school. I don't want to let another cycle pass without being enrolled so I have considered attending a different school and then transferring when possible. I'm just not sure it will work. Is there anyone who is considering the same or has some advice about the idea? Please let me know your thoughts.

I attended a different college for my freshman year and got a 3.39 which was mostly A- but then a C- lowered it. I then transferred where I should end up with around a 3.92 for the remaining 3 years here. I know that law schools will look at both transcripts, but would most law schools look at them separately and maybe focus on the 3.9? Is there a policy such that they have to combine the two or can they approach the 2 gpa's at their discretion such that they can officially count my gpa as 3.9 so it would have better effect on their admissions stats, that is if they were to accept me ofc.?

    Hey 7Sagers,

Here's the official February 2024 LSAT Discussion Thread.

REMINDER: Under your Candidate Agreement, you may not discuss the details of any specific LSAT questions at any time. For the February 2024 LSAT, general discussion of what sections you had, or how difficult you found a given section, or speculation about which sections were scored or unscored, is prohibited until after 9pm ET, Tuesday, February 13th.

Posts that violate these rules will be taken down and may result in disciplinary action from LSAC. Let’s work together to ensure the test is fair to everyone, and not share information before everyone has taken the test.

    Some examples of typical comments:

The following comments are okay 🙆‍♀️

  • the section on Cambodian woodworking really had me second guessing everything.
  • a few of the games had me confused but think I was okay.
  • overall fair test, struggled on a couple of RC passages (damn you polymorphic molecules) but think I was okay hoping for a -2 or -3
  • The following comments are over the line 🙅‍♂️

  • the passage on Cambodian woodworking didn’t count.
  • I had Cambodian woodworking, Fireflies, and rice farming in Iowa so Lithuanian Lithograph Libraries was experimental.
  • fair test but struggled on a couple RC passages (polymorphic molecules anyone? Thankfully it didn’t count). Don’t want to take again in June
  • Anyone know if Polygamist Societies in the 1880s was real or experimental?
  • Please tell me that polygon dice game didn’t count
  • Good luck to everyone taking the February 2024 LSAT!

**Please keep all discussions of the February 2024 LSAT here!**(/red)
