Can someone explain why B is correct and C/E are wrong?

Does anyone else feel like the correct answer on this one, C, attacks the premise directly? The Stem says that if we lower opera production costs so that they can be funded purely by box office tickets, we can do away with large corporate sponsorships which only play the most famous operas. AC C (for a weakener Q) states that operas cannot be funded without the help of large corporate sponsorships. Is this question one of those very rare ones where we do in fact attack the premise or am I misunderstanding something else about this question?

I am in a few weeks throwing my cast to a wider net of law school ocean, and 7page predictor rates are just a painful slap in the face. I cannot sleep with nightmares that I will receive 0 acceptance letters.

My NOV Lsat score did not move a budge from the disappointing Aug score after months of studying. I am taking my final shot in Jan but not hopeful..

I have finalized my PS (finally) and Resume, and biting my nails off to finish my DS, which I have underestimated how difficult it is to succinctly convince that I can bring any kind of diversity to the community. I wish I had started sooner.

I already feel so behind the cycle and every minute a spot I dont even have a high chance is being taken.

I am just suffering from low confidence that my package is just not competitive enough, which makes me hold on to it, but only to waste precious time.

Anyone experiencing the same anxiety at this point of time, how do you cope?

Hello Everyone I am John G. I just took the Diagnostic exam & and honestly I got a 120 on it and I feel pretty messed up about it. But Starting this LSAT Journey is something different from what I am usually going through. But Starting this what is the best way to start studying for it ? My goal is a 170 before the end of 2022. I canceled my first, I retook one and got a 146:( . After I registered with 7 sage for a month, my PT’s are around 158-164., but my most recent LSAT was 146:( (I was so disappointed with myself). Should I apply and then transfer or should I do 3 more months and take my 4th time? ( I know it is many times, I was not intended to do so)

My LSAT score jumped 19 points. From a 157 in June to a 176 in November. There were a few factors to why I scored so low in June compared to Nov (Exam day after finals week, loud college town, my room was 90 degrees, etc.) but more than anything I just wasn't ready. would explaining that i was exhausted from finals week be a good enough reason to explain the score jump? Also should I mention my cancelled score from April in my addendum?

I'm literally SO confused about this question. How are you supposed to diagram this?

From my understanding, "Unless A --> NOT B" is equivalent to..."-A --> -B"....right?

So, "Unless A OR B --> NOT C" would be diagrammed like "-A OR -B --> -C".......? (I might be wrong, idk)

The stimulus says, "Unless the building permit is obtained by Feb 1 OR some of the other activities are completed in less time --> the new library will NOT be completed on schedule."

And if you diagram this, it's equivalent to...."-obtained my Feb 1 OR -less time --> -completed on schedule...".....? But this seems to be wrong, according to the answer key.

Can someone explain to me how adding more than one sufficient condition to an "unless" statement changes how it should be diagrammed?

For my application, there are two sections: disciplinary action and addendum. The disciplinary action question reads: "Have you ever been subject to disciplinary action for academic or other reasons in any of the colleges, universities, graduate, or professional schools you have attended"

Long story short, I dropped out of college a long time ago, received three academic probation in a row, and was academically dismissed. Does this count as disciplinary action, or do I talk about this for the addendum section?

I wanted to write a PS that details abuse I suffered during childhood. Is this too much for admissions committees/will they report it to anyone? Sorry if these are dumb questions, I just want everything on my application to go well.

None of my friends are taking the LSAT and so can't relate, I already wired my tutor the money and he isn't responding to my emails and text messages, my study partner is all business, I've been staring at a blank Microsoft Word document that is supposed to be my personal statement for the last six months, and I've gone through literally a dozen practice tests in the past twelve days missing too many questions, and my score won't budge. Probably the most out of place but genuine post I've made in the past three years. Anybody want to have a casual conversation that ISN'T about why A is wrong and D is right or how much is your hourly rate?

What is the difference between Question Difficulty and Psg/Game/S Difficulty in the PT score breakdown?

I am a senior in undergrad and plan to work for 2 years before attending law school. My current plan is to take the LSAT in the spring/summer of 2023 and apply to law schools in the fall of 2023. I just heard about LSAC's past announcement that they'd be removing logic games from the LSAT in 2023, however, and it's making me question if I should change my plans some.

I am yet to start studying for the LSAT, but I'm concerned for a couple of reasons. First, from what I've heard, it seems the logic games are the easiest section of the test to "master." Therefore, I'm concerned the test will be harder without them. Second, and perhaps more importantly, if LSAC creates a totally new section for the LSAT to replace logic games (meaning they don't just add an extra LR or RC section to replace logic games), there will be no official practice tests to practice for the new section. Seeing as past tests seem to be an integral resource when prepping for the LSAT, this seems like a bit of a nightmare.

All of this brings me to ask a couple of question:

2.To me, it seems that it would be wise to take the LSAT before the logic games are removed (because of LG being the easiest section to master and there being ample practice tests to study for them). As aforementioned, my plan has always been to take the LSAT in the spring/summer of 2023. Therefore, I've always planned to start studying for the LSAT after I graduate in May of 2022 (because I'd like to have at least a year to prep). If logic games may be removed by January of 2023, however, it seems it may be wise to take the LSAT before then. So if I started studying in May, that would only leave me 7 or 8 months to study. So would it be wise for me to instead start studying for the LSAT after my final exams end in December and take it before January of 2023? I have a pretty high GPA and I'm only taking a couple of classes before graduating next semester, so I have no concerns that studying while in school would hurt my GPA.

Apologies for the long question! I just don't want to mess up studying for the LSAT. I'm super appreciative of any responses or input!

Could someone kindly help me understand why/how A is the answer for this question if my interpretation below is incorrect?

I got this wrong. I picked C, but now I think I see why A is right and why C is is wrong. Is C wrong because it is merely stating a fact stated by the stimulus - that there will be more males to x # of females at both lakes therefore it's not some we are 'inferring'?

And, is A right because given the sex ratio information re: females and males in the stimulus, we know there will always be a lower percentage of adult males at Western than at Eastern Lake?

For the question that asks "are you a first generation college student' or "are you the first one in your family to get a bachelors degree", I am confused if it asking in America or anywhere overall? Might be a dumb question but I thought it was important to check as colleges in the country I am from are not comparable to colleges or even fancy high schools here lmao.

Hi everyone!

I just did a full LG section and was able to get through games 1-3 with almost 3-4 minutes under the recommended time. The fourth game, however, took me 7 minutes over the target time, which I felt was way too long. However, I finished the section within 35 minutes and got -1 on the entire section.

I will most definitely review this fourth game, but Im curious to know if this timing in game 4 means that there is a crack in my understanding? I know that on the actual test day, we can't know how long it took (or should have) taken us to do each game, but I am not sure what to make of me taking over 7 minutes the target time but still getting -1 over the entire section.

Would love to know yall's thoughts!

Working full-time and trying to manage the LSAT has not been an easy journey. I'm looking to find one or two other people in the NYC area to do in person study sessions. Ideally, I'm looking for someone who would be down to meet at a coffee shop once a week to study (even if it's just as accountability budies- like we each do our own thing) .
