Hello. I'm a full-time parent who works full time. I need to take the October LSAT. I would love to form a group that has the same lifestyle so we can help each other study. I am from Miami, Florida. Let me know if you are interested :) Thanks!

HELP!
I took the June 2020 Flex and received a 165. My PT averages were around 161 so I was pretty happy with that. However, I had to guess on the last LG due to time, so it makes me wonder if I can do even better than a 165. Should I retake? What are the downsides of retaking?
I had a very stressful experience with ProctorU and it took almost 2 hours until I was finally able to log on and start the exam due to various technical difficulties and multiple disconnects from their tech support. When I was finally able to start the exam I was still extremely stressed and on the verge of a panic attack, and asked my proctor to pause the exam briefly so that I could regain my composure (I was hyperventilating, dizzy, and shaking severely). The exam was paused for about 30 seconds and I was not far into the section at all, and the exam proceeded with no other issues. I asked the proctor if my score would be cancelled or if my test would have to be reviewed due to the pause, and she said she didn't know. I'm wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar or has any insight to offer on how this could impact whether or not I receive a score.
I was stuck between B and C and don't see why B is wrong. Doesn't it support the claim that it IS better to dump in a scarcely populated area?
Hi everyone,
I was wondering if any one could please clarify this phrase on the LSAT Flex FAQ page. It says:
Q: What electronic devices are prohibited?
A: "One cell phone is allowed for use as a mirror during check-in as instructed by your proctor, but it must be turned off and put away as instructed by the proctor before the test begins. Additional cell phones are prohibited."
https://www.lsac.org/update-coronavirus-and-lsat/lsat-flex
I was wondering what exactly "use as a mirror during check-in" mean? Does this mean that it's mandatory for me to bring my cell phone to my desk? (I was planning to turn it off & put it away long before the test starts for peace of mind, but now I'm not sure whether I need to have it with me and also have it turned on at the beginning of the test? Seems rather odd.)
Also, what is a "check-in"???
I'd be much grateful if anyone could please provide any clarification on this. Thank you in advance!
Do I need to finish the writing section before I see my July score on the 30th, or do I just need to complete it before submitting my score to schools in the fall? Thanks!
I just took the writing portion and as I started to take notes on the scenario given to me, I realized there was NO prompt to show the camera my scratch paper. I had already written a few words on on the paper but I stopped and I said to the camera something like “I think I was supposed to show you the paper. There was no prompt to do so but here it is even tho I just wrote on it.” And I showed it both sides and what I had written at that point. I probably lost about 30 seconds due to this and the panic that I felt.
One side of the paper was shown when I did my room/desk scan. But not the other side till after I took some notes.
Ugh. Did anyone else have this experience? Do you think they will disqualify me? This is a time sensitive issue and I’m not sure if it’s better to call them or just hope for the best and not make a big deal out of it.
Hey,
First, thanks for taking time to read this! I'm taking the July Flex this afternoon and have a last minute question.
Second, just wondering if the ProctorU or Lawhub LSAC portal is the place to go to start the test? In my ProctorU account I see a countdown that I anticipate will turn into a "Take Test" button after it runs out; is this correct? If not, would you quickly mind telling me where to find such feature?
Thanks so much!
Felipe
Hi guys!!
Q: Is there anyway to recreate Flex tests on 7sage? If not, can we pretty please have Flex tests or the option to somehow create our own tests using 3 problem sets that are then put through the converter (if this is already poss LMK!)
Q2: Is this something that is being done anywhere besides the PowerScore analytics package/ if not, would you recommend using the new PowerScore package?

Hi all,
After initially planning to take the August 29, 2020 exam, I've decided it would be beneficial to delay my exam to the October 3, 2020 test date in hopes of improving my timing and score. Does anyone know if the October LSAT is most likely going to be a LSAT Flex?
Thanks!
Hello,
I'm currently working on my application for disability accommodations and had a questions for those of you who went through the process. I was wondering if the documentation from the qualified professionals needs to be submitted by me or by them individually? Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Hey guys! For letters of recommendation, I know we need at least 2 to apply but will it be alright to get one from an employer and one from a professor? Or will it look better on my application to get 2 from my professors? I have a bachelors but unfortunately, I never spoke to my professors that often so I'm in a dilemma right now.
Hello friends!
I recently shared my story of my 7Sage experience going from a cold diagnostic of 142 to getting a 169 on the LSAT. Many people asked for my study method and I kind of gave a quick run down of how I approached each section. I forgot to add a mildly important caveat.
My studying method has always lead me to rote memorization. I memorize things pretty easily making the generic test a breeze, which is why the LSAT was such a curve ball. There was nothing I could memorize!
After going through the core curriculum, I was overwhelmed by the amount of information to take in and was a bit shook. I decided to go through it again and select some vital data to jot down on some flash cards. I wanted to play to my strengths and use memorization as an approach to the LSAT. I found that memorizing these flash cards made my response times to particular questions quicker, especially with argument flaw questions. Being familiar with the verbiage made it easier to see through the weeds of fabricated confusion that the LSAT writers love so much.
@kkole444 asked me to recreate the cards on Quizlet so they could be shared. So, for everyone who also likes to memorize things as a study method, please feel free to use these!

Happy to answer any questions anyone may have :) Best of luck to all!

Hello!
I am looking for motivated people to study together and ace the January 2021 LSAT test. My idea would be to create a FB group so we can regularly post questions/post threads/schedule Zoom calls. LMK if you're interested :)
Please add me on FB and I will add you in the group!

Hello! I’m slated to take the August LSATFlex, and wanted to see from anyone who has taken the Flex or otherwise how I can best mimic the testing conditions for Flex? I want to mimic testing conditions as close as possible so as not to be unnecessarily thrown off on test day.
I’m thinking of taking the second LR section in a PT on 7Sage (by looking it up beforehand) as a warmup drill the day before, and then just doing the three sections one after the other immediately the following day. Any other thoughts? Thank you so much in advance!
I'm looking for lessons for Most Strongly Supported Questions. Does anyone know where I can find it?
Hi Everyone,
I updated my foolproofing notebook for PT's 59-83. Did this a couple years ago with PT's 20-44, but have noticed more unusual games on the newer tests. My hunch is 7sage's foolproofing method and others like it effectively broke the curve on old tests with standard games, hence the higher occurrence of unusual games on newer tests.
In any case, if you have any tablet with stylus support that can run OneNote, this is a great way to take and retake the newer logic games for foolproofing. Also a good simulation for the digital LSAT*

Please reach out to me if you'd like a soft copy of this digital workbook. I'll need you to confirm that you already have legal access to PT's 59-83 & PT 86.
This took a long time to put together. Accordingly while I'm not charging for it, any contribution is appreciated. Took a 3 month hiatus from my career to prep for the August LSAT, and the extra cash would certainly help.
Thanks,
Hari
*I do not recommend this as a standalone for LSATflex prep. I noticed the switching back and forth from scratch paper to a screen in front of you further stresses short-term memory and requires a lot of practice to adjust to.
I ended up eliminating all of the answer choices and am a bit confused why answer choice is D. Is it because the answer choice only mentions sentencing and not arrested + convicted as the stimulus does?
I have lots of old tests - including tests 30-50. The logic puzzles seem to be very different from the puzzle types from more recent tests, but I don't want to run out of practice material by only doing tests in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Any thoughts on the older puzzle problems being less relevant? What about the LR & RC? thanks!
I'm thinking of signing up for the August LSAT Flex, and I see on the website that the last day to switch an exam date (If I still don't feel ready) is August 22. Is there a fee for switching?
The LSAC website said this in the beginning: "All August LSAT registrants will be automatically registered to take the LSAT-Flex during the week of August 29 unless they choose to opt out and receive a coupon to use for any future LSAT until April 2021. " If I switch from August to October (for example) around the Aug 22 deadline, would I get that coupon? Or is that just for people who had registered for the August exam before LSAC announced anything about it?
TAA!
I took the test yesterday at 10:50, and the format was LR26 (electric bacteria) - LG (tv or print) - RC (volcanic ash plumes, Algonquin tribe, Literary theory and science, Women’s marriage law reform in England). I did very well in LR and thought it was pretty easy as it had short prompts. LG was same as usual but you had to be on your toes. RC killed my perfect test tho, as I thought the algonquin passage was brutal and the comparative passage was hard too. If you had this format or any of the sections mentioned, What did you all think about it?
Hello!
I am signed up for the Aug 29th test date. How do I know if my test is 'flex'? I don't believe I selected the flex option.
Should I be practicing taking the test with a mask now so I am comfortable and used to it then?
How have testing conditions changed?
What type of question is... "the argument proceeds by"?
