I typically don't err on the side of TLS but I wouldn't go to a law school with the plan to transfer later, so I agree with the adviceyou've gotten so far. Only go to school if you know you will be happy to graduate from that place. Hope that helps!

I agree with Daniel, I'm not sure that this topic would necessarily warrant a diversity statement. Debate is obviously something that means a lot to you so I would advise that you craft yourpersonalstatementabout it instead if that is possible.
