I did have JY's voice in my head most of the test. When I'd cross out wronganswers I'd say something in my head along the lines of "what, this just makes no sense" or "so what who cares?"
Totally depends on how fast you are. Some people are fast enough to have time leftover to eliminate all answers. On LR I'm fast enough to do this. But on LG I'm not.

Correct. It means you get rid of the 4 wronganswers and are left with the 1 potentially less awful option. Getting to answers this way is much tougher and often involves much less certainty.

I think this question is a lot easier if approached by eliminating definitely wronganswers. The moment you start going down the if-then path you fall into their bait & switch trap.
