No you should be fine. You only need to explain long periods that you were not working and also not in school. You should be doing *something* full time, or part time at least. Many people don’t work during school when going full time.

Just FYI I had a friend who had a 2.9 uGPA, studied hard, got a 177 on the LSAT, then got admitted to nearly every T-14 school (including Harvard!). He ended up going to UVA on a fullride.

Northeastern isn't top 20 but is more focused on public interest than anywhere else (except maybe CUNY) and has an amazing fullride public interest scholarship.

It sounds like you can get a sweet job on your experiences alone. I would apply to law schools and go to one where I get a fullride. Your experiences plus a JD will put you in a nice spot.
