Aside from what's already been mentioned, try to make guaranteed selecting correct ACs for SAs and PSAs. Once you've mastered those, 9 out of 10 should take 30 seconds or so, especially a lot of the ones on newer tests. -

I think it depends on the person. I find, in general, there are less confusing stimuli on newer tests but the newer tests also have more traps. Focus should be on the 80's and above. I have recently been doing RC from older passages and feel those are what I have experienced on newer tests.
