I've actually made some decent progress on LG since beginning my studies, however my conditional logic (and LRin general) are particularly weak. I'll make sure to check some of those sections out, thanks!
Haven't touched LRin a while but I remember seeing the "gap" in reasoning which we are trying to plug up. Diversionary AC will either be totally unrelated to that gap or, trickier, misrepresent that gap as when confusing sufficiency for necessity.

From my understanding, schools see your score in it's entirety and not just by section. The exception being the writing sample. HYS don't award merit $$$, but a higher LSAT will never hurt ;)

I think that, for some reason, people downplay the psychological aspect of the test. A precipitous drop in one's score can certainly be due to those factors. I wish I had good advice about that, but I don't. Maybe others can chime in.
