I would recommend holding off on PTs until you finish the core curriculum. I took a few while I was going through it and in retrospect wish I just spent that time on the lessons and problemset modules.
I usually take screen shots from the "quick view" option for the problemset questions I want to revisit and put them in a word doc. It has been working for me pretty well.

It's not perfect, but it's pretty close in my opinion. I took the digital in July and I'm going to be using the problemset interface to practice going into the Sep test, if that's helpful.
With the problem sets now live on digital format, you can just create a new problemset for each game that you're fool-proofing, that way your data from each attempt is saved.
