Definitely agree with what the above posters have said. Also, the University of Montana has a median LSAT of 154. 150 is their 25th percentile. To have a really good shot you want your GPA and LSAT to be over the medians.
Median LSAT means that half the people in the class have below that score so why wouldn't you think someone with above the 75th GPA and 25th to 50th LSAT could be accepted lol
... the top 20-30. The median GPA for these schools is ... .5-3.65, and the median LSAT score is about 163 ... or two below the LSAT median, and hopefully get some scholarship ... get a little above the median.
@"Rigid Designator" I think what happens a lot of the time is that people use "median" and "50th percentile" interchangeably regarding schools' admission, which as you pointed out, is inaccurate.
I don't know why they use the median when they list their LSAT and GPA. So misleading.
They should put their 50th percentile LSAT and GPA. I mean they already put up 25th and 75th percentiles scores anyway.
Shout out to all the older applicants applying who have been out of school for a while. From what I hear, since law schools median ages are around 24, being older can help you stand out especially if your experiences since school relate. Good luck.
