Great scoreincrease. With a 178 BR, I would take your game to the next level and push to come closer to that 178 score. With a 175 plus and some good work experience you shouldnt have too much trouble getting into T6 schools.
Which schools? Can you guarantee a scoreincrease in June?
If you can't guarantee a scoreincrease, or if you just don't want to, then go to Michigan! Michigan is an amazing school. Northwestern is pretty incredible, too. :]

When is an addendum necessary if you have a significant scoreincrease? 5 points? 10 points? 15 points? How do you explain the increase other than the obvious of continuing to study or hiring a tutor?

Have you taken any practice tests now after the CC to see if your score changes? I feel like I took a practice test, saw my weak areas, drilled those, and THEN I actually saw my scoreincrease. My BR increased ALOT too!
Law schools only care about your highest score. Especially if you haven’t taken more than 3 times. Generally you’ll have to write an addendum for a 10+ scoreincrease.
