When you apply, schools usually email you for an Application StatusChecker user ID and a password, which is usually in the receipt confirmation email. Have you received it? If not, you should probably call them.
I'd assume if you called they would tell you pretty much what the statuschecker says. Not that it would be bad to try but I dont think it would get you any real answer. Apps just take time sometime
Unfortunately, every school is different. Georgetown, for example, does not update the statuschecker after the application goes complete. TLS is a great place to find out information about this, especially in the What to Expect When Expecting thread.
