The school to which I am applying does not give a suggested length. I was referring to guidelines I've seen on 7sage and other resources. I wouldn't directly contradict what the school specifically says to (not) do.
More personality v. shorter length - Do admissions officers prefer a clean and concisely met minimum (two pages, for example) over a half-to-full page longer personal statement with more emotion and personal background to it?
I graduated 2011. If you have a professor you liked, it doesn't hurt to try to ask them. Refresh their memory who you are. Maybe dig up an old essay you wrote in their class and include.
I'm primarily left with re-takes as well. I take re-takes as a full length test and find that They are still beneficial. There are instances where I will get the same ones wrong which will really show a weak spot.

There aren't, because JY only uses old LSATs for the problem sets, to leave all the recent ones pristine for full length PT practice. The comparative passages were introduced in PT 52, and the problem sets use PT 1-38ish.
