I know there are specific accommodations for talking outloud, which I assume implies that if you don't have the accommodation then you're not allowed to.
@larnlevitt I'm surprised you aren't allowed to mouth words! I understand not being allowed to read or whisper them outloud, but I honestly mouth stuff even when I'm taking an in person test...

Doing this allows ... retrospect, go through and figure out where your thinking was incorrect ... work, you can quickly figure out where your reasoning was wrong ...
@Kbrookss Unfortunately it is true that you aren't allowed to speak outloud during the test, you can mouth words silently though. I'm sorry that happened to you though. :/
I have taken it 4 times and have read silently to myself. In the beginning I was afraid because the rules say you can't speak outloud but I have never had a proctor tell me to stop. Hope that helps.
I know there is an accommodation option for reading outloud during test. You may need a doctor's note or something similar to be qualified for this accommodation.
