This is just one of many things that could probably be considered, but maybe some PTor section retakes could help--the scores will be inflated, but it can help with practice.

Whether you can verify it was an official PTor not, I'd stay away from that book. I don't have it saved but I've seen excerpts from it that were outright incorrect.

I'll be explaining patterns I picked up from the 2nd LR section, which can be applied to future LR questions in general, regardless of PTor section. Hope that clarifies.
I wouldn't do all of the modern ones, but I also wouldn't do 1-15. I'd say start from PT 60, and do every even PTor every odd PT. Save some of the modern ones just in case you need to retake, so you'll have insurance.
