Thanks for this post, I am in the same boat. I took the Dec. test and I am still skeptical in my score and i am leaning towards retaking and applying in the next cycle. Also it doesn't matter if the UG prof was in a law related class. Yeah I saw a guy the other day get accepted to Stanford and rejected at UT Austin. That was the most egregious example I saw this cycle.
